  1. SSA is the best online site you can buy from, they are the original Sundown Audio dealer and have the best customer service around. The Sundown X series page says 14 plus business days build time. 14 business days is almost three weeks normal time and add the plus in there that means it could be even longer. Don't worry SSA and Sundown will take care of you.
  2. "Availability: Estimated build time of 14+ business days" So I'd say 3-4 weeks to your door. Aaron and Mark are busy men I am sure- but they'll get to you. I've had good experience buying from SSA- just made an order today myself.
  3. sell the hcca buy a zcon or evil. run it on the bc2000 and sit n smile and think damn this is so much better than my hcca was.. But why? If he is happy with his current subs, no need to spend more cash. Yes, the Zcon and Evil are both amazing subs, but they have their own audience and their own performance perks. If the HCCA's fit his goals, no need to change. And OP, I've personally have always liked sticking to one, makes things simpler. But I also don't advise to run at .5 daily. You can, but definitely not necessary.

There is nothing to sweat, as soon as the X-series are complete, we will update your order status ASAP. Tons of phone calls rain in all day long and we cannot catch them all. I am having Sundown look up the status of your subs as I type. They are still within the estimated build time, nothing to be upset about at all. They are working on getting it to the front of the line for you, but again this is a very busy time of year for all audio companies, please bare with us.

Just be patient you guys...These companies are literally SLAMMED with business during tax season, so much so, that they have very little time to answer emails as quick as they would like too, and they usually do when things are a A LOT less hectic. You All will receive your orders and you ALL will be dang happy you made the purchase BELIEVE ME!! These companies are working VERY HARD for ALL of their customers to build your product first and answer your questions when there is time. The wait is a very hard one. I personally know this. And personally just went through it. And I am happy as a fly trap hung in the cow barn!!!

  12. I think the answer lies within your own comment right at the beginning ..if you swap radio's the problem goes away. That is what I would do, first thing, is return radio. Sounds like a faulty unit. In line noise suppressors, and ground loop isolators, only mask problems, try to NEVER use them! You did a good job with trouble shooting, if you swap out H/U's for the same or better you should be good, if you still notice a little buzzing (you shouldn't) I can tell you know how to trace down the source! Good Luck! EDIT: I LOVE KENWOOD EXCELON H/U's!!!!!!!!!!!!

But thank you for the nasty post and changing my email wording to make us look bad. Oh, don't forget you're asking to have SSA reward points given back to you as cash. Again, I am sorry there was a stocking mistake, but we tried to instantly correct it and refunded you right away when asked. BUT I WILL NOT sit here and have someone change what I said to hurt my business. You can run and tell your friends that you got great customer service despite the stocking issue. You were not wronged, it was a simple mistake on communication between us and XS Power. We apologized, tried to correct the issue instantly, sumbitted refund asap, and this is how you act. I will gladly warm other vendors of you if I need to.

I too placed my order weeks ago for my soundquebd hsd3 12's when i. ordered them they were in stock next day i check on my order and says backordered till March 31 then it says now April 28th and I've been trying since last Thursday. And they aren't responding to me or nothing I've asked them for them to call me cuz i dnt know where to find their number but seriously i need to know what's goin on here with my order and when steps are gunna be taken to make me a loyal customer feel happy and want to come back here when i order my wifes setup for her birthday
  21. So on march 11th i purchased 20ft of ofc xs flex 0 gauge since thats all what i needed for my install to be completed.. In a coupke days my order status changed to ' awaiting shipment ' nd i patiently waiting until march 24 when it still had the same status.. I emailed support nd they reply telling me that ' we apologize for the mix up, but when you ordered it was in stock but went out of stock so were not able to ship it. Instead would you like the CCA xs power wire and the difference refunded? ' lol... Like are they serious? What kind of bs is that and then offering me to purchase something different rather then what i ordered? Oh well this is my last time ever giving business to this company. Will let all my friends know also. Thank you for wasting time!
