3 pointsI have noticed, as well as a few people have messaged me about it, abuse of the rep system. It is just a simple forum feature for people to have a little reaction to a singular post based on the content of that post, be it positive if it is a beneficial post or if you really like the content, or negative if it is detrimental or you really don't like the content. Not something to have a personal vendetta against another user to down vote every post of theirs. Personally, I feel it is ok to have both the positive and negative if the system is not going to abused. But, if it is going to continue to be abused, I will turn off the negative option and we can move to being like other forums where it has to be a safe place and we can't have any critical thinking.3 points

3 pointsOk, this didn't really go as I thought it would. Maybe we need to make a poll to decide the purpose/direction of the rep system to avoid abuse. I kind of prefer civil approaches to things. Damn hippy parents.3 points

2 pointsThe goal is to help and be informative, not to be sarcastic with every post. To help everyone that post here, questions have to be asked to help with goals before suggestions can be given. I will say the mods here do this well. Trust me, I've been on both side of the fence with this forum. And I will say that I personally have learned from my mistakes and understand things ALOT better now. So yes, I so think some good ole fashioned ban hammer swinging is needed on forums at times to keep things informative, fun, and professional.2 points

1 pointOk, to start with, my name is White Lightning on SMD. I post there ALOT too. So you can easily tell that I'm friends on both forums. With that said, my biggest thing with dyno test is that they are not real world application. All vehicle setups are different. So no, I don't care for dyno test either. However, I do not complain about them. They are a fun bench test none the less. You can guarantee that results will be different In a vehicle application. Def. not worth trolling over. 1 pointYea Steve is a dick, that arseho emailed me the other day to say I was wrong about something on YouTube, then told me to not comment on his vids, then the very next day put out a video saying exactly what I had said. I called him on it and asked why he would say today the impedance thing was right, when he said I got it wrong yesterday. Apparently it's only right if he said it.1 point

1 pointWhy not, just ban everybody that don't agree or are new. To hard to be nice or polite and treat people with respect, so just ban everybody that won't put up with it then you 8 guys can get back to using the ssa forum as a text messenger.1 point- 230 DCV Car Audio Build

1 pointSean, what you need to do is start swinging that trusty ole ban hammer around you've had sitting in the corner for ages. Just saying. On a serious note, there is a lot of inactive moderators on this site.1 point- Forum rep system
1 pointYou do see how those two comments are related right? *again rhetorical, no need to answer1 point- Forum rep system
1 pointAaron, the bigger question might be how to deal with dipshits. Using an exception to change a rule is frustrating. That being said, the negative comments generally don't help although they do give an opportunity to mark a post shit without quoting it. Hard line to walk. I don't care about anyone's score in the rep system at all, but what I do care about is that people respect the board. When they don't do that they should be escorted out the door permanently. One option to prevent nonsense (if the board allows it) is to require a minimum 200 posts before you can mark anything negative. Obviously a rhetorical question.1 point- Forum rep system
1 pointLike how I haven't even commented on hardly anything in a few days, yet my score went up 30 points to the negative. Lol I get hate for liking anything or saying anything.1 point- Welcome to the IHoP v.2

-1 pointsIt is pretty easy to have nice pictures. I'd personally have a discussion with the place and check their recommendations before doing anything with anyone. Most of us have a hard time paying for the install though as it regularly costs as much as the equipment.-1 points- Forum rep system
