  1. Engineer? The closest I ever came to being an engineer was the train set I had as a kid!
  2. Hey, Neal! Been super busy lately. Things are still far from slowing down. But I had been talking on here about buying a Kimber for a couple years... Figured I'd share it . Add in the new MJs, and I knew I had to at least say hi! Bought a new Subaru and became partners in a local shop since last visit, too. Thanks! I may grab a few grips for it, just to play, but it has all the add ons I wanted. Carry melt, tritium sights, ambi-thumb safety, rosewood grips, front strap checkering, trigger work (crazy 4.5# trigger with near zero creep or reset, best I've felt on a pistol).

  6. Redneck solutions! Exactly what I gave him and he called me an engineer! Lmao I told him get an old charger paint it orange, place a pile of dirt, & yeeeehaaaawwww!
  7. In the engineering world, I've done work on bridges but only on cable stay ones. Non-contact tension measurements in the cables themselves. Amusingly it is an NVH measurement, but with a different purpose in the analysis of the results. Wish I could help here, but it'd just be a red neck solution of sorts
  8. Pain in the butt! Good news, I got my XS Power Superbanks today These are the distribution blocks that I will be using on each one.

  10. If it is a made - to - order item, that will depend on the item. If it is a normally stock item, will ship with in two business days.
  11. Neither of my cars could make it over, they would get high sided on the end haha.
  12. Can't wait to see this thing come together.
  13. I love the roll bar in front of the seat. Like a roller coaster ride.
  14. That looks slick! Nice ride too!
  15. Little rear pod designing or playing.
  16. Also other than the fact billy goats walk over where the troll sleeps.
  17. I love vodka, champagne, and life.
  18. Awesome sent. Im eager regarding how long the shipping will be. I'm sure there will be a lot of orders
  19. BJ's moronic off topic ramblings and the associated corrections were moved here: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/72282-billy-jack-thread-dumping-thread
  20. Tweeters with balls are easy to implement with anything...but it doesn't always mean they will mate the best. Install what you have, let's conquer making them sound as good as they can and then move forward wtih a replacement based on what they don't do well. The Evil tweeter should dig pretty low too and there are others. I run a Scan D2904/60001 but they are uber expensive and while awesome arent' worth the price for an in car installation.
  21. I'm obviously no expert, but it looks like this ScanSpeak Limited Edition D2604/8320-02 1" Textile Dome Tweeter has an fs of 500 hz, 100 watts of power handling, and relatively flat frequency response all the way down to 1000 hz on axis. This appears to be a very good match with the SSA Evil mids unless I'm missing something. Opinions?
