Ok, Went outside during the rain under the shed and snapped a couple of pics. As you can see, this a almost complete stock truck. What I plan to do is take the dash completely apart and make it completely smooth. No air vents, gauges, controls, ect ... Then make cut outs for a HCLD and 8" driver on each side. Should be interesting. Hopefully going to a junk yard and find an extra dash or two to screw up on. LOL1 point

Phase one is done. Static 4/6" drop complete. Just needs some frame notch work now. I know, that shitty bumper has got to go !!! No worries, Steel Roll Pan is on the way guys !!! Next step, Dually Fenders !!!1 point

Ok. Finally working on the front suspension drop !!! DJM 2" lowered springs and 2" drop spindles for a total 4" drop. In true fashion with these old trucks, cutting of the lower control arms is required. way it goes I guess, My son is doing most of the work ... LOL1 point

We will get to work on the front suspension ASAP. Just set the stock wheels and bed back on until we can get back to work on the notch (after the front suspension is dropped). For now, Her ASS is closer to the ground 4 sure !!!1 point

Not sure those 2" shackles will be able to stay. Most likely will be replaced with stock shackles. DAMN, THOSE HUB KITS LOOK AWESOME !!! Too bad I can't permanently mount them at this time. ALOT of work to do !!!1 point

Got the bed off so we can mount up the old 6" DJM Flip Kit. This truck already has 2" lowering shackles. Don't have time to clean the frame for the notch at this time. What can I say, It's Easter Weekend. We do not drive this truck so it will be OK to sit on the snubbers temporarily. Not sure if we're going to stay with the simple 6" drop or prepare for a monster notch ???1 point
