Hey Mark,when i build this box I was thinking about 8 cubes at 28-32hz with about 120^2 of port. How do you think that will perform? Should be just fine. Thats alot of port but should be just fine. I would tune around 30-32hz

A 1500D is plenty for the Xcon. yea but itll be even nastier with the 3000d well thats a bit much power for this sub for daily use. just to be clear.

im not a noob. i would definitly call myself a rookie. but i am not a noob. this has something ive been thinking about for about a month or two. ive put a lot of thought into it. i will mess around with my bl's before i go spending thousands, but i want to go bigger than bl's anyways so either way ill probably sell my bl's in the end. i have court thursday and they are probably going to suspend my lisense for another year, so i still have a lot of time before i really make my final decision. i have nothing against the bl's, but i just really want to get a super nice system together for myself, and be done with it. no slowly upgrading, buying system after system wasting more and more money to find where my niche is. i just want to go big once and be done with it. obviously i may have to experiment with multiple boxes, but ultimately i just want to have the same equipment for years to come. so you are not even buying for another year?
