  1. not the Batt and GND side but the other side.. Just curious as to what it looks like and cant find it anywhere
  2. Yea no joke, I read this the other day but I was sleepy and I thought it said 3660 at like 13 volts or something.. and the fosgate puts out 4700s at 14.4V..Sundown FTW, Ill be loud as hell either way
  3. Yea it does : POWER : 3660 Watts AMP VOLTAGE (measured) : 65.84 V AMP CURRENT (calculated) : 55.58 A ACTUAL IMPEDANCE (calculated) : 1.18 ohms SUPPLY VOLTAGE : 11.9 V WHOA forget it was tested at under 12v.. SunDown FTW, plus I just seen Rockford Fosgate has a 77.3% Eff.. as opposed to 86% for the 3500d.. wow I feel stupid now.. source : Sundown Specs
  4. As far as I remember the SAZ is rated at 12.6 volts, and Fosgates are rated at 14.4. So if you think you can maintain 14.4v with no drop then the 4k is for you. ah touche, what do you think the 3500D would do at 13.5+V? I know I can maintain that
  5. alright thanks
  6. not only do they cost the same but does the RF t4000 put out more RMS? the 3500D only puts out like 3660rms @ 1ohm right?
  7. I can get both for the same identical price.... lol so I mean, which one is more reliable, or better quality?
  8. Hey I going to be getting 2 Fi BTLs fully loaded with the daily instead of SPL option, should I get the Rockford Fosgate 4000-1BD or Sundown 3500D?
  9. Also I want to run the subs right at 2000 if not a lil over.. I dont like underpowering, seems like a bit of a waste to me..
  10. So if I go with ONE amp then I need the DVC 1ohm BTLs? and if I choose 2 amps then I need the DVC 2ohm sub?
  11. What about 2 1500d at 13.4+volts? Its says they were rated at 1970wrms at 1.23ohms at 12.85V... but if I jump it up to 13.5ish would it hit a lil over 2000wrms?
  12. I think Ill just be getting two 2000D... but I really dont know
  13. Well you cants get dual 4ohm BTLs can you? But with the Para/series if you ran one sub para and one series it wouldnt make it sound different would it? It would just change the impedance?
  14. I think the rule is big box, and higher Hz like 41 and up..
  15. Im gonna get 2 Fi BTL 12s 2ohm DVC and Im going to be getting a 3500D, whats the wattage at 13.8-14.4volts? would it be able to put out about 3500wrms for the subs? Or would I be better off with two 2000Ds? p.s. Ill have two batteries, big3, and all the electrical I need.
  16. now thats what I wanted to know
  17. Personally if your not louder than him, than you shouldnt be in car audio at all. Just my .02 Touche... lol
  18. HAHA.. I wonder.. I wonder if I did that same process just with a 53' trailor instead of an AstroVan.... I will do it, one day, one day it will be done
  19. That is beautiful and freakin CRAZY.. If only I had the skill/money/knowhow/resources to do all that on my own.. MORE VIDS! lol
  20. Thats what Im hoping for.. But I know I dont need to hope, BTLs wouldnt be this 'famous' for no reason..
  21. Yea I figure just tweak the gains, build my box just right and since Ill have a better electrically supplied amp I think Ill get him..
  22. So then what would I do to ensure the very edges are sealed.. just thought of that. Use the clamps and a lil more glue in the corners? And sounds like a fool proof plan to me.

Ha just had to say Mafia Wars ROOLZ and Ill help as much as I can.. i. Not really sure, but I wouldnt imagine 33-35c hurting THAT much considering you run # wattage through it ii. I personally believe playing it will help it demagnetize because I know for a fact with non-sub related magnets, which magnets are pretty much the same, that extreme heat/dropping and any extreme misuse will lead to demagnetization faster. iii. I would think that the longer they sit and depending on humidity would determine that, really humid would mean, MAYBE yet doubtful, some rust, and really dry could mean dry rot.. But definitely get some more opinions on that one..
