  2. I am heading the other direction from ASSpen for the weekend. I am going to Breakenridge for the International Snow Sculpting Championships.
  3. The X-Games being right up the road in ASSpen sure makes for a ton of people.
  4. Did you ever check to make sure the valve stem wasn't to blame? Like I explained before. Lincoln locker FTW.

Theres only one way to learn and find out. Hook them up and see what you hear, would help if you had them in a sealed test box also. The sealed box will mimic the alignment you will have in a sealed door closest. Midbass is a hard one to really put a set freq range on, especially in a car. I have my midbasses set at 20-630hz right now, but have ran them as narrow as 50-250hz. So the point is, Its more about acoustic coupling to the other drivers in the car you are using them with, then just a set range.
  6. Yes. this is the path of least resistance. I recommend from the alternator case to the neg battery terminal as the very shortest path.
  7. I want to cook a beef brisket, but don't own a smoker. I would love to dry cook it but just don't have the right equipment, So I stuck braising in the oven. Obviously this is my first time, so I have a few questions. Will I be good browning the brisket first on the grill? Any better method to brown the meat before cooking? I can set my oven as low as 170F, and own good thermometer. I have read a bunch of different recipes, but want your guys opinions. Thanks in advance.
  8. A fuse on the power wire is not nessecary, but is cheap insurance. I found the easiest way to soilder was to crimp the terminial first then soilder with a torch, don't forget the flux. I would run the engine ground to the battery. Definetly leave the factory wires in place.
  9. I love the burnt orange color. I wonder how the door speakers sound with the handle in the way?
  10. Congrats on the house!! You will love Colorado Springs, definetly a nice city to raise a family in. I hope to buy a house in the near future also.
  11. I have so much midbass, I can blow dry my hair with it on the way to work.lol.
  12. Tis Friday for me.......Bitches!!
  13. Today my youngest daughter, Annikya, turns 10. Happy Birthday babe.
  14. I made cheese sauce twice this weekend with Cojito. I used heavy whipping cream and it came out great. THe Cojito is a WIN WIN for teh sauce, was more palatable then the raw cheese. Thanks again guys.
  15. 4,5,11,12 I like voluptuous full figured women, what can I say. I would fuck 1-18 though, with no regrets.
  16. The build looks good so far! I am tuned in. What year is that car? Did everything in the DC Power kit fit?
  17. Image Dymanics, Phenix Gold, Alpine, Diamond Audio, Bravox to name afew. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/Bravox-Audio-CS50CF-Components.html Are you going to run an amp with them?
  18. The wire you refer to is part of the big3. The other two wires are a ground wire from the alternator to the battery and a large ground from the battery to the frame/body of the car.
  19. Awesome job on the box! I love the look of the angled subs. Maybe you could fill the rear panel that the tail lights are located in with expanding foam. Or bolt a board across the inside where the plastic was, as a brace. Just some ideas.
  20. For your car I would replace the alt with the biggest one available. I would avoid cheap alts like the ones on ebay, and a few other companys. 180 would be ideal, if you can find one. Quality HO alts are not cheap, but will solve the problem. Unlike a battery which depending on your listening habits could be hurting more than helping.
  21. Looking killer as usual. Can't wait to see how the suspension comes out!
  22. Two things that may limit the size of alt you can use, space available and the size of you engine. I suggest starting a thread in the DC Power section and ask whats available for your car. They will give you a good idea of what is possible and not possible based on their research. There are other companys I can recommend contacting, but thats a good place to start.
  23. The Xcons are sexy subs. The trunk is looking clean and simple, keep the good work.
  24. Most alternators are easy to get to on the vehicle and install as long as the one you get fits. Does your alt look easy to get to? Do you own the tools to swap alts?
