What's a sleep schedule? 11pm-5am is mine, and with the mad rush lately it has been less than that. thats my usaul sleep too. but any 6 hrs will do. 9-3, 10-4, 11-5. I just hate when I go to sleep to early, then I am wide awake in middle of the night. Whats your opinion of the "Bump in the Night" brand masks?

So "ATimeMachine" cancels my order a couple weeks ago cause I put # instead of trlr on the shipping address. Fastforwad to this morning, I call to see why they haven't refunded my money and the dumb cunt tells me that they sent order. SO after 20 minutes of agruing with the stupid bitch SHE figures out that SHE canelled my order and says "oh, we'll sent a refund in three days". Un fucking real.- review of DC Powers customer service
The thread is to commemorate DC Power for standing behind thier product and honoring my warranty. DC Power makes a top notch product, and has good communication with thier customers. My story: I ordered and installed my 250xp alternator in march of this year. The bracket fit perfect and the wiring was a breeze thanks to the correct plug installed on the alt. No wiring adapter which is good in my book, because every extra connection is just one more place for a problems to occur. The belt that was included was the wrong size and one of the bolts was the wrong thread pitch and alittle on the short side. NEITHER wrong part was a big deal as I could get the correct parts locally and I also informed DC Power of the things I though needed changed for future kits. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago: I drive ALOT, I put a lot of miles on a car. I had put close to 15,000 miles on the alt since installed. The belt started to squeal when I started the car, which I can't stand. SO I went and bought a new belt and went to install it, and found the case had broke around the mounting ear. I swapped in my oem alternator and called DC to see what it was going to take to get it serviced. I was asked to return the alternator for a new case and bearing. I was unsure if the warranty would cover this, and couldn't be told a definite answer over the phone without them having the alternator to inspect. I am VERY PLEASED to say that DC Power reconized that the broken case was not from abuse and warrantied my alternator. So thanks again, Rob, Kyle, and Dave. AS anyone here on SSA knows I talk VERY highly of and recommend DC Power to everybody and will continue to do so.- Welcome to the IHoP

for the E55 ? Nah, this is for the Blue Meanie My friend in high school was going to get one for his 80s full size Blazer, but he said they are illegal in passenger vehicles. Not sure on this, might want to check if you care. illegal in Colorado. I have an 8" steering wheel in my blazer, you can even drive with hand cuffs on.- Don't you just hate local SPL comps?
Well he had more subs, that makes it better right? LOL. JK Sounds like you need to help them get a clue. (and a real meter)- Seafoam
as in a whole tank? any more info on that? i've heard of that as an alternative to seafoam, but not much about how to do it. aren't they theoretically the same thing? just make the engine's fuel burn a ton hotter? Deisel fuel to flush out the sludge on the oil side of the motor. when changing oil, drain old oil, poor in deisel fuel, run engine 5-10 min, drain deisel fuel, install new oil filter and add your normal oil. As far as carbon deposits on the intake side of the motor. You can spray cold water mist into the carb while the engine is running to break up carbon deposits. BTW the water is free.- Sir-Lancelot's Yukon XL - UPDATE 18" ZCONS / 4 GP3k Page 27
Thats an EVIL looking enclosure design. Are you building it?- What am I doing wrong?
Inputting Parameters in WinISD Pro From the new project pop-up click the 'New' button beside the drop down arrow. Once this is done a new screen will pop-up. This screen is fairly straight forward - Just enter the brand, make and model of the driver whose parameters you plan on entering. Then click the 'Parameters' tab and you will see something like this: Ensure that 'Auto calculate unknowns' is on even if you have all the data. This is recommended because WinISD Pro can be very picky about the data and if it is even 1/1000th off it will reject the data so it is just easier to let it do the work. You might notice some small differences in the values from the calculated and the provided, but very rarely are these large enough to substantially effect modeling. This is the recommended method for entering driver parameters [if at any point you need to change the unit of a parameter simply click on the displayed unit and it will change]: Enter Mms and Cms which results in Fs being calculated. If Mmm and Cms are not known enter Fs. If Fs and Mmm or Cms are known enter Fs and the other known value.Enter Sd, Bl and Re. This will result in more auto calculations being made, but Qms and Qts will be blank. If Re is not available, go ahead and enter Sd and Bl.Enter either Qms or Rms, whichever is available, generally Qms is available. If Mms and/or Cms were not provided for input, now input Qes. This will cause some other fields to auto calculate.Enter Hc, Hg and Pe if available. These are not required, however Pe (RMS Power Rating) will give a good idea of how much power signal input to model with.Enter the number of voice coils. NOTE: Drivers using dual voice coils may cause the Bl and Re parameters to change when changing the connection wiring from parallel to series. Be sure to monitor these when changing the connection option, but WinISD should automatically change these values properly.Correct Znom (nominal impedance) if needed. Many times this will change to 6 and should be 2 or 4... or the ultimate resistance (in ohms) you intend to run based on the voice coil configuration and your connection setting (parallel or series).Enter Xmax and any other missing parameters if known and continue. DO NOT change any of the blue auto calculations. If they are only slightly different, this is okay. If they are off significantly, contact the manufacturer or vendor of the driver. If you want you can also tab over to the dimensions page and enter 'Dimensions'. Don't worry about the 'Advanced parameters' tab. The steps outlined should cause parameters to be calculated such that they can be saved without error. If there are problems saving then too many parameters were entered that are likely very close to the calculated value, but WinISD wants the mathematical ideal. Just delete one of the problem values it shows up and try to save after it has been calculated and keep trying until it works. In my experience only Fs needs to be calculated to continue.
