BanginGMC's Build Log | The Rebuild
Why would you want to "sandwich" the ground to the body instead of just running it to the frame instead? Also Just another way to run ground wires through the body and ground the body at the same time, killing two birds with one stone you could say. AN easier way to run a ground wire through the floor without drilling such a big hole, no gromet needed, no water or road noise coming through the hole. My orginal statement should of read "if you ground to the body", thanks for the clarification, Deernet.

Why would you want to "sandwich" the ground to the body instead of just running it to the frame instead? If you are running a wire through a hole in the floor to the frame you don't need to sandwich the body. I do see ALOT of people on the other hand only grounding thier AMP or second battery to the floor OR my favorite the seat bolt, SO to those people I would recommend thier body is grounded to the frame. ANY body and frame vehicle could stand to have a few extra grounds at different points on the body, and will usauly even make the exterior lights brighter.i.e. tail lights, blinkers, head lights, brake lights, running lights.

Sounds like you are HAPPY with the results. You got a tON of dash to work with in that truck. Definetly the best path lenghts with the tweeters on the dash, Besides putting them in the kicks, plus so much better staging up high on the dash. Keep up the killer work brother.

J-Roadtatts Honda Accord Build
Thanks for the kind words. I enjoy building things and once I get over the fact its not going to be done on any set day or time, just is going to get done when I finish it, THEN I can enjoy the build part. I also enjoy inspiring People by showing EVERY step so anyone considering a larger project can realize it takes ALOT of TIME and PATIENCE, BUT pays off in the end. BTW The MID-BASS shall be EPIC!!!!!

BanginGMC's Build Log | The Rebuild
Are the tweeters going to be mounted flat in the dash, reflecting off the windshield? You should be happy with the staging, the tweeters that high will definetly bring the stage up nicely and put it right in front of you. I want to say I had the jumpers set to "0" with the tweeters in factory dash location and ALL drivers wired "in phase" with each other. LOoking gOod brOther.

Welcome to the IHoP
SO I kinda inherited a 1994 Ford F-250 XLT with 460c.i. yesterday. Heres the story, My mom bought the truck in the late ninetys when she had a 5th wheel. She sold the trunk to her dad, my grandpa and he died in like 2005. My mom sold the truck to a guy we know in 2007 and he only payed for a few months and hasn't payed in like 16 months. My mom is WAAAAAAY to nice of a person and didn't go reposess the truck until yesterday, BUT has no need for the truck and the guy put a few dents in the truck SO NOW its not worth her fixing, SO She calls me and tells me I can have it, and get some new door locks and ignition So I have the only keys.SWEEEEET MOM, THANKS!!!!! Now I have WAY to many vehicles though, SO I might have to sell one (or two). BTW I am the son that takes care of ALL my moms needs, with her house and her resturant. My siblings are either lazy or too busy. My mom go's out of her way for ppl SO I make time whenever she needs it.
