  1. WOW, I am SOOO full of ENVY right now. THAT is one gourgous enclosure and XCON sub. I voted your topic 5 stars BTW. Once I got my HO alt. installed I could hear the difference in how much authority the extra POWER made in the sub amp. You will be happier with the Sundown amp also.
  2. I always would buy a bottle when I go snowboarding, the whiskey muscles and false courage helps. Crown is definetly one of the smoothest liquid breakfasts. I have over 18 months sober NOW though, No more "liquid dickhead" for me.
  3. You didn't ask but, when going out pedaling something that can really help you recover FAST is drinking something like "Endurox R4". I used to mountain bike for several hours at a time, and it made a HUGE difference in recovery time by getting in the nutrients right after a long cycle session. I was pretty prone to cramping though, so YMMV. For me and the guys I pedaled with it was night and day. I like a 2:1 sugar:protein a bit more, but what ever works. Most bikers love endurox. I used to buy powdered bulk aminos, powder cross filter, ionized mega broken down whey and dextrose and mix my own drink for pedaling. Always added in vitamin C and then a banana later. After a while I got really lazy though and would mix OJ and yogurt. Ot a banana and protein powder + water. Anyway to get sugar, vitamin C and potasium, and simple sugar ASAP. I think the home brew worked the best but it would always make me insanely hungry(I desired that effect at the time though). With the other 2 options I felt I got the same results, but the smoothy made me have less appetite. Vitamin C, potasium, and sugar is the real key. The protein was really good too but not as important. All good info, What do you eat/drink before cycling?
  4. Lookin' good Bangin'. Why doesn't anyone wear gloves? just a thought, as I have yet to cut myself. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, aim the 6.5s up a little, you will gain output. AS far as tweeter placement, get some velcro and move them around to the differant mounting locations you have available. I choose as high in the door as possible. I was afraid to put them on axis at first, but was glad when I did. YOU can set the JUMPER to around -5 or so on the crossovers with them this close to you. THE tweeters will have the most output on axis and this way you can turn them down on the crossover, and they won't even sound strained. Let me know if/when you have more questions.
  5. I like to do the Kanji symbols to look like brush strokes. I can usaully make old ones look brushed on also, just a thought.
  6. Heres my "beast". IT needs a fresh coat of FLAT Black this year, and I will probably be building a tube front bumper and full roll cage. I know its ugly as sin, but sure is fun to drive. the specs: 1972 Chevy Blazer, 327ci. w/Powermaster 200amp alt. and dual red tops, 1-ton axles, Bilstein shocks, Detroit locker, 4wheel disc brakes, Super Swamper bias-ply TSL's. I also have a Pioneer deck and some Polk speakers I will be installing.
  7. Looks SUPER gOod Brother, I always LOVE fine line B&G. Looks like you just started collecting?
  8. I've had my BTL in for a month now in my SQ set-up and it sounds amazing. I have my low pass set at 50 hz, anything above this sounds bad in my set-up. I recommend listening to the sub with the fronts turned WAY down, just enough to reference to the music, THEN adjust your LPF and see what you hear. For me, once I got to 50 hz @18db slope the BTL started sounding AMAZING. After a month THIS sub has REALLY started to loosen up and smooth out. My box 5cf tuned 32hz, 12 in. port area per cu. ft.
  9. Its my Friday!!!!! I LOVE my Friday!!!!! Haha. But I have court tomarrow.
  10. Wheres the pictures?
  11. If I was any where near Indy I would be Tattooin' you guys. You never know though? I might be headed to colorado this summer to see my cousin. I will have to look you up. I havent gotten any ink yet but want to. Might be around 4th of july. Blues Traveler at Red Rocks! WOOO! I went the 4 of july Blues Traveler show in 1996 I believe, crazy they are still doing it. I am 3 hrs west of denver, But Its a beautiful drive if you want some ink.
  12. As small as I could possibly make them.
  13. Its delicate, I can't neglect the wife and kids and other responsibilities. I squeeze in every minute I can without offending the W.
  14. Good lookin' fit on the box. Them are some SUPER SEXY SUBS, I love the blue!!!!!! (my favorite color) Keep up the gOod wOrk, I look forward to more pics.
  15. Heres some pics of the dash pods wraped and resined. as you can see the right one has a funny bump to cleaer the magnet. The motors are huge on these little guys.
  16. I slowly am getting the pods done, heres a few pics..... Some resin...... Here is the placement and aiming of the dash pods..... As you can see THEY are both on-axis with the drivers seat, I think they should stage gOod. Heres a pic of the back side of the baffle, I honed them out SO the driver could breathe.

Happy B-day my Brother, Thanks for the GREAT site.
  18. I voted #4 cause I like ANYTHING with a skull on it. I would sport any one of them though.
  19. You will love the type-r's, they will definetly need a month or so to loosen up. YOU got the perfect amp for them, They sound great with 100 watts to them. They are definetly power hungry but handle every bit of it with a nice clean signal, I can't imagine what two pair will sound like.
  20. I love my BTL.
  21. Other than cutting the holes in the doors, I haven't had the chance to do a whole lot, Because of the honey do list. I just started working on them again this morning, SO progress pics probably today. Also I am getting two door packs of Damplifier Pro from the brown santa any minute, which is the only other real hold up.
  22. Poor dog, atleast he's alive. Must of wanted that tire pretty bad. My yellow lab has cost me a boat load in vet bill's.
  23. Spent both my days off fixing/doing shit for the W, and I didn't get a fucking thing done on my door pods. Got the kids playhouse sanded/stained, a winters worth of dog shit picked up, swamp cooler fired up, roof fixed, weeds whacked, lawn mowed, shed cleaned out, made a dump run and made like 10 trips to the hardware store.
  24. Sounds like the little lady got banged up pretty bad what was the scenario peng? any worse than Tater's (my neighbors dog) new mystery wound? My dog got the same wound on her rear hip, IT was from the bolt on the trampoline leg that was missing an accorn nut.
