  1. What kind of $$$ are you looking to get out of it?
  2. Interesting. What size of structure is this going to be exciting? How much energy does it take to excite something for your kind of testing? Does it take multiple drivers per structure, or is only a little bit of actual energy needed for what you are doing?
  3. Sharpening knives is always productive And it was, cut 10 layers of 4mil plastic today like a hot knife through butter.
  4. come on i know you have a bunch of pipes laying around, poor man's breaker bar. Had no decent tool than could take it. Borrowed one from the neighbor, with 3ft pipe, bingo. One more thing I need to buy...some decent sockets. Awhile ago I had to move one of our testing frame's crosshead. 10 bolts all torqued to 175ft*lbs, I torqued each one 4 times, complete pain in the ass.
  5. Don't want to do anything productive so I'm sharpening knives instead of homework.
  6. Its wire, sure, but it isn't rated for 400amps, that is a bogus claim on the manufacturers part. 8ga is also overkill for your purpose too.
  7. Didn't realize there was a matt2 .....:tear: ok mang it's cool Opps... I suck with names....
  8. Didn't realize there was a matt2
  9. Anyone who needs a rifle/pistol/camera/gear case, look at these Harddigg Storm cases, they are the best case out there IMO. *And a DAMN good price too* http://dsgarms.com/index.cfm/category/28/rifle--gear-cases.cfm
  10. I have determined making money the good ole fashined honest way takes to long. Time to overthrow a country and start my trek for world domination.
  11. Agreed. I don't think most people realized the amount of bracing needed to not feel vibrations when you put your feet on it though... Maybe they do but don't want to put that kind of time into the build though.
  12. Remember that if you do build a coffee table for a speaker box that it needs to be braced to hell to prevent unwanted vibrations.
  13. I got 47 Baboons...
  14. What do you do for a living? You are in Europe driving on the Autobahn while working? Whatever it is, sounds good to me. Sean is part of the MN Mafia, they run protection for all big/high end businesses. I thought that was a secret and not to be made mention of. I'm far enough out in teh boonies GPS doesn't work so they can't come hunt me down.

  16. I have some windows open doing the same. You guys suck. Its 34* and blowing snow right now.
  17. Eh, its ok. Mackeson triple stout is better, imo. The local brewery, Tallgrass, came out with a awesome stout called 'Buffalo Sweat' lately, love the stuff.
  18. That's crazy! I do hate HDMI though. I avoid it on my moniter. I only use it for the HT because it's whats there. I know with my LCD's Sean that I have to randmoly wiggle the HDMI cables in the socket because it will loose signal somehow over time from my PS3 in the living room. I "need" the analog input for my TV connection. I don't feel like buying HDMI over Cat6 Baluns for the other rooms yet and R2 brought me some component repeater amplifiers so component output from my receiver in 1080i it is. That means that the HDMI input on the Hanns G has to be used for the PC. As soon as the Baluns become more affordable I will switch it since the Hanns is only 6' from my pc, but the cable output is 50' from some of hte TV's. If you need more, I have more.
  19. I remember Sean posting a pic per request of his home carbonated water setup, other than that I don't know a damn thing about them.
  20. What class is this for? The reason I ask is because these topics aren't quite something that can be summed up well in a paragraph.
  21. Oh and coffee > energy drinks
  22. Still working on testing stuff. Looking like I will get out of here about 12:30 tonight. Only makes for a 10+ hour day
  23. Go figure. Going to start testing a beam in 20min and I can't get the damn data acquisition to load the experiment table.
  24. Get the 4.0, I still think the 4.0 is underpowered for highway duty though. 4.0 underpowered, 2.2L turbo underpowered, geez, what engines cut the mustard ? Something with a real sized engine.
