I hear you guys talking about audio classes....what would the classes be called? I doubt my college has anything like that. lol Theres one or three electro-acoutics classes but there really isn't much here.

My schools Audio Lab dosen't even have a fricking dedicated Preamp, they've got quite a bit of rackmount stuff, a bigass mixerboard, but no f'ing dedicated preamp...

Some of my friends think I'm fudgeed in the head. So I've got an Eng Physics test friday. One of my friends took the test tonight because hes going to be out of town tommorow for track. He told me 2 general things about the test and that was it. I easily could have got him to tell me the entire test and how everything is. I didn't want to know, still don't. I'd rater take a legimitate C on the test than get an A on something I cheated on and now a couple of my friends think I'm f'ing stupid. They kept trying to get me to call him and play 20 questions till he passed out about the test, and I wouldn't do it. Is trying to be honest and have some sort of integrity that hard to come by??

I just had an eating contest with a guy on my floor that runs track. I just kicked his ass, I found it pretty funny cause I"m 5'9"-5'10" and 140lbs... lol

A plate amp is what the amp is called in a powered home theater/audio sub. It is a self contained amp that all you do is cut a hole in the box, put it in, screw it down, and plug it in. Referred to as a plate amp because it is mounted to a plate.

Anything with frequency based math/measurements will help. My whole life is spent in Fast Fourier Transform and Frequency analysis land. Cool stuff though. I'll look into that this week. I'm heading to bed, thanks for the info!

Theres a couple electroacoustics classes here in the EE dept., but no acoustis/physics related classes, I've already checked into that.

Thanks Sean! Currently there is a shortage of NVH engineers that actually understand frequency analysis. Not a bad route considering your interests. Whats NVH stand for? *edit* Noise Vibrations and Harmonics???
