Think I'm gonna sell my box and DD1008, not to fond of the sound, it gets loud but sounds like arse and I can't stand it. Finally do an actual install (with a painted box and all that crap), and the truck breaks and I don't like how it sounds, figures.

Heater cores f'ing blow. Replaced the heater core, EGR, and O2, it blows.

So I went up to see a friend I went to HS with, she goes to a Lutheran college, theres some wierd folks up there... So I started off in my S-10 and got ~30miles from home and I said hell no, this truck runs like chit and I"m turning around. So I took vehicle number 2 up to Nebraska and got an O2 sensor for my pickup up there... Got back, and the O2 sensor got installed on my truck. Took it for a drive, its still f'ed up. So then I switch all my crap over to another vehicle to take back to school, get 30miles away and realized that I forgot my pucking parking pass, so I went back home and got the, got 20 miles away from home the second time, and the pucking service engine soon light comes on. So then I have to go back pucking AGAIN and swap out to ANOTHER vehicle back to school and finally got here. This day has sucked.

Just make one out of a piece of plywood, its what I did. If your going to have "stereo" bass you are going to need to sepearate the chambers for each sub. I also would not put a TV on a woofer box, I think the vibration would kill the TV over time (prob wouldn't take that long either ona cheap TV. One more question... Why on earth did you make an 8cube sealed box? For bracing if you put 2x4's across the center of the panels to make them 2.25" thick total (or 4.25" depending on what way you lay the 2x4) that should help out with any panel flex, although I doubt you will have a problem with that.

My truck is currently the loudest thing in the two towns here, and all I've got is an entry level DD woofer, simple ported box, and an 800 watt amp...

The USA-300 works, the DD1008 is loud enough it hurts my ears. It dosen't get that low but the f'ker is loud. Sounds like arse too quite frankly.

You'd think the military would have ammo out the ass...

I sold my Behringer EP2500 to a guy in the dorms for a pair of Xplods... Made me laugh, but hey, he is happy with it. Theres not much room to work with in the dorms especially the KSU ones. I've had the best luck with my sealed 10" one firing into the back corner up against the wall. Using it as a coffee table dosen't work worth a damn (downward firing), under the desk dosen't work (downward firing), but into the corner works alright. This is considering its only getting like 80 watts to it... I'd say do a sealed box and try to fire into the corner, it dosen't take much to get loud in the dorms and have people complaining. I got complaints with my last setup 2 floors away and I didn't even have a sub with that rig. *edit* What dorm is he in, and does he have a false ceiling. If he does we should get him to but a bunch of PA woofers and do an IB intall... :D

Nice photos, not to find of how high the bug catchers on some of those cars are and the dual blowers on the GTO, but different strokes for different blokes I guess.
