Factory tubes suck. Period. I've got 4 of the 7" ones laying around doin nothing. Would anyone be interested in bookshelves or MTM's constructed set up for ACTIVE *read no crossover*? I'll make some and sell them if someone would like to purchase them. I also have a couple of the Dayton 4.60$ 6ohm tweets sitting around too. I'm just trying to figure out wtf to do with the four drivers. I also kinda need money for a full set of planars for a line array. I've learned that I need to go big or go home on the arrays, and it looks like I'm gonna try to get the funds for the full set of planars. I'm going to be talking with you in the near future...seeing about how much shipping would be on some cabinets. Easy build though. And yeah, factory tubes suck, but remember, there was a point in time when Mullards and Telefunkens were considered "stock tubes"... In fact, the guy I bought my new pre from included some Mullard 6DJ8's...or whatever their funky European number is called. Any idea on what you would want the cabinets constructed out of? Course I also went from factory behringer tubes to EI Elite Golds...

Tom- A 6-71 Detroit diesel is 6 cylinders and 71 cubes per. The "muffler" on it was actually billed as a "spark catcher". It is in a big loader that we use. Its just plain loud and awsome.

Saw that 3020 number and thought, "Hmm, we've got one of them tractors, used it today even. Now what is he talking about tractors for?? Opps, that isn't a tractor " Made a sparkler bomb/rocket hybrid with a friend and his dad tonight for chits and giggles. 9 Packs of sparklers + 1 roll of electrical tape = A sparker rocket that went about 40-50 feet in the air, did flips and shot a 1/2 a block and landed on a trucks steel toolbox. Yikes! It was cool as hell though!!!! *Thank god it didn't land on the truck's paint*

Funny stories about a chinese tattoo. They are working on the highway in town here, and some of the construction people were in the local bar and one big fella was showing off his tattoos. He had some chinese script on his arm showing it off. A local fella (big guy) said, "My mom's microwave has that exact same thing on it." The fella started getting pissed talking about going outside and settling it. Knox (local fella) just stands up and WHAM, decks the fella and once he woke back up in a couple minutes, I guess he was kinda quiet while he left.

I agree, people are stupid. I work parking when I'm at school for events at the stadium, you don't realize how many fricking idiots there are driving till you have them slow down and come in the gates to pay money. Drive on the right side of the road? Hellllllll no, they wanna exit on the left, drive on the left, and have their head up their arse when they come in the dang gate. And then some are just arseholes to boot.
