  1. Well in that case i would give em a call or email. i have never used them personally but if there on SSA they must be good dudes and will make it right. If it were me i would keep the sub D2 and run it @4 ohms. them save up or whatever then buy an amp stable at 1 ohm. IMO
  2. Contact them and ask them to swap it out if you ordered a d4 and they sent d2.......wait do they offer a LI with d4?? i think its just d1 or d2?
  3. Features: RMS Power: 750 Watts x 1 @ 2 Ohm RMS Power : 350 Watts x 1 @ 4 Ohm Number Of Channels: 1 Wire it at 4 ohms like jay-cee said untill you get a different amp...or sub
  4. Ive bought 4 sundown amps and 4 sundown subs in the last 5 months. A company that has substantial growth and still maintains A1 custoner service will be around for a long time. you have a customer for life. If not for me, atleast buying for my homies cars CONGRATS
  5. That dude that had " hit me with a quarter" sign sits in Salem Oregon getting on I-5 freeway ... and i have thrown a few quarters at him. LOL GOOD LUCK Chop!!

  11. I did buy them used but i checked them over pretty good before i installed them. the dude i bought them from took care when shipping and sent them in theoriginal boxes from fi.
  12. Would this type of thing be covered under warrenty? these were purchsed new sept, 8 2009. only 6 months old. maybe a defective magnet?
  13. Go to PSP-INC.COM may need to build a new box 12-16 sq-inches port area per cubic foot of volume
  14. My 12 " Qs sounded bad since i bought them a few weeks ago (used) so today i figured i would build a new ported box for just 1 instead of having both in a sealed box. This is what i found when i took the woofer out. Looks like the motor wants off the basket pretty bad!!!!!
  15. Were all here to help each other out. may want contact jacob and double check and maybe change coil configuration if necessary/possible
  16. hope jacob caught that. i dont think he wants to run.5 ohms
  17. Wont 4 speakers with Dual 1 coils make .5 ohms, 2 ohms, or 8 ohms?? Wouldnt you need Dual 2 coils or Dual 4 to get 1 ohm load?
  18. Thats a good question. i would pull power from which ever is closest in line to your amp. ill be doing three batteries under the hood soon. i built a custon dual inlet intake that opens up a third spot where the factory air box sat
  19. I cut a hole in the floor, protected the wires from the sheet metal, and sealed it up around the wires.
  20. A little different situation with our trucks. 1 run of 4 ga is about all you can fit here
  21. Well i got the Fi Qs today.....Not that impressed i have two 12s in a sealed box 3 cubes net. maybe ill try ported tomorrow. i know the Q isnt a spl sub my my 8s hit about 2x this hard. Fi recomends 1.8 cubes minimum per sub for ported. could i run two in 3 cubes?
  22. Run the wire under the truck. i have 3 runs of 1/0 cable in a sleeve running along the top of my frame rail on the passenger side coming up through a hole in the floor behind my back seat. Im running a SAZ1500d and a SAX125.2 behind my seat. check the build log. maybe that will help. mounting the amps is pretty tricky.
