  1. Thanks for the response Aaron.
  2. I hate internet shopping but I have approximately 750 watts RMS @ 1 ohm and would like to run a ported 10 in my 2012 WRX. I was just wondering how the GCON stacks up to the Fi Q in terms of Sound Quality? Keep in mind, I only have some listening time with the Fi Q, and IMHO, it is a bargain for the price. If the GCON is close enough, it may be a bargain to the bargain.
  3. X2, I was wondering if Jacob had a specific targeted port area in mind for the SA-8s. I know it is really tough to get a decent port size for one subwoofer in .6 cubic feet net because I ended up building a super skinny port to have my wife's True Bass Ultra 8 tuned to 32 Hz. In her case it was not so bad to go with a .75" wide x 8.5" high x 18" long port since the sub is in the trunk of her car. In my case, I'd likely hear the port noise because I am trying to pull off a sealed, direct fire design with the SA-8s that I ordered.
  4. I am glad that I found this thread. For some strange reason I wanted to play with a pair of 8s in my Mustang and I wanted to run something other than the Digital Designs subs I ran in the past. As a result, I put in an order with Mike for a pair of re-cones. It looks like .6 cubic feet net tuned to 35 Hz may be the way to go in my vehicle. Good thing I only have a little amp to push them... A Stetsom 1k5 H.
  5. I had a medical exemption for this car in Louisiana: Unfortunately a drunk driver killed my car on a Sunday evening: Now, Louisiana won't let you tint the windshield with a medical waiver, so I figured why even bother getting one.
  6. Wow, I barely remember joining this forum a year ago. I believe I came here to look up some information on Mach5 Audio who regretfully is no longer here. Anyhow, this has to be a world record between my forum join date and my first post.
