  2. If you seal your trunk does that mean you have to keep your seats down? And what are the advantages/disadvantages?
  3. I think some batteries have the date they were bought or when they made them look at that see if it is old....
  4. That's what I'm going to do but i just want my subs going first then do the front stage. I still don't have speakers so I need speakers first then the amp. But I'm getting the alpine type r 6.5 components and maybe a crunch pzt 900.4 or hifonics HFI100.4 so yeah just had the quick question on the sub part but thanks for your help will need alot of help in the future if you have any other amps for under 120 and 75-120 rms show them....LOL
  5. Yeah i just wanted a temp set up until i get the big amp but i guess i cant bridge the amp you did answer my question tho...
  6. So I in the market in buying a 4 channel amp I need about 100 rms per channel going cheap on the amp crunch or MB quart. But my question was if i buy the amp i can use 2 channels for my front stage and can I leave the other 2 for a sub? And most amps are only bridgeable at 4 ohms so this means it is 20 ohms each channel? And my sub is a 4 ohm DVC so if i wire it 2 2ohms it going to be at 1 ohm? So what I'm saying is will I be able to run a front stage and a sub together?
  7. Hahaha with the speaker wire......
  8. I heard the CDE 105 was the new 9886.............
  9. fantastic sub an 8 with a 500 rms amp is good enough.
  10. lol I plan to, but i just don't know what amp to run. Anyone got recommendations ? you keeping the type R's? got this one for temp.... http://www.millionbuy.com/hihfse400wa2.html It's a 2 channel as i dont have a rear stage.......
  11. dude you serious? I have the 6.5 components off a 100 rms amp because i think thats the rms but they keep up with my 2 12 RE SE 12's at 1600 rms. You might get way more with an amp when i had mine i got the speakers before the amp. They sounded like shit compared to an amp. Got the amp and they are bangin hard here my mid's and high's nicely in all of the songs......
  12. Do you have an amp for them? An amp makes a huge difference.....
  13. Lawrence DUDE! I'll be living down there soon!! I hadn't realized we were so close.. I'll be going to Haskell Indian Nations University, after 3 years i'll transfer over to KU (Thought you might like that ) We'll have to meet up when i get down there! I'm not sure if I'm staying on campus or getting an apartment. Lawrence is a great place and lots of cool stuff down there. Sure thing. Glad you're escaping Misery Oh Yeah, I'm pumped! How are the prices on the apartment's down there? I've heard they're fairly cheap. Eh, not what I'd consider cheap. But I'm from western kansas. My apartment is 800 sq. feet, 1 bedroom, water & trash paid, and it's $705/month. But my complex is fairly new. I could have stayed in my former apartment, a 3 bedroom townhouse, for only about 100 more per month. But it wasn't as nice as the one I'm in now. However, of course the landlords were upgrading every other unit in the complex at that time so others were nicer, and they weren't going to upgrade ours until we left. Well, I'll tell you what. You can just look for yourself. Most of the apartment complexes in the whole city (plus some duplexes) are listed on www.apartments.lawrence.com. If you tell me what kind of place you want, and maybe where, I can suggest some complexes if that's what you're looking at. Well, Somwhere close to Haskell would be great, 1 Bedroom, Washer/dryer, Maybe a carport or garage, Just kinda a college apartment, furnished if possible, Probably no more than 700/mo. Damn thats expensive 700 for an apartment were i stay for a house it like 800 for a house with like 3 beds atleast but what is bad is the jobs no jobs so people go to LA for jobs.....
  14. Damn that shit is badass i would like to have that woofer but It's to big maybe if they had it in 12's.
  15. Damn it looks...........BADASS!!!!!! Your a luck man Bangin Your system is going to be devastating.....
  16. Thats sexy............lol. So whats the price on them?
  17. Yeah the one you listed would be your best bet. But don't get it from alpine try to find it online sometimes there cheaper and by alot. Good Luck but yeah that is the best single din they got I think. My cousin has one but he has an external EQ nice unit. Alot of features Rear cam looks good too.
  18. Was going to ask you, you want a single din or double?
  19. Oh well those units are pretty expensive look into Pioneer or kenwood see if you like some. Thought you were getting an I-Pad for it?
  20. I don't think you need one with 3 outputs. Get any one you want and an external equalizer or crossover for the outputs and better RCA voltage......
  21. He ha s 1500 watt amp so 2 SSD's or SA-12's would be alright but no Fi X's
  22. I know it does i have a feeeling this is going to be a great build just being a little sarcastic........LOL.
  23. 18 pages for just a front stage? really wanting new pics yo..........
  24. so you have +to+ on one side neg+neg on the other and did that with the other one and hooked up each sub to each terminal at the amp?
