I beleive you are one of the refunds.....once I am financially cought up enough all 3 of them will be issued (yours included) Before talking about a refund we were talking about design plans if your still willing I would like that for my new truck. One less refund to worry about. 3 or 4 sa-8's round ports in a reg cab dodge ram truck.

Yeah I'll just wire it 1.5 and I'm thinking about upgrading to a dc power alt. After seeing so many vids of xcons compared to what I have currently (JL 12w6's) I knew it was a time for a big change. Ok well another few questions. Is there another amp or amps ie strapped that you would go with. Also the usaci classes have changed alittle since the last time I competed. I use to compete in the 0-300 stock class and 0-500 stock class. Wtih these subs I know I'm def not going to be in the stock class anymore. Also does usaci still class an amp off what it puts out at 4ohms stereo or max output. saz4500d = 900 @ 4ohms

My current electrical system is custom external regulated 200amp alt I have a yellow top under the hood and a kinetik 2400 in the cab. Big 3 done in 1/0 but. I will add more wire and a bigger alt if needed no big deal. Thumper says that theres really not enough room for 15's. He just built a box for 2 15 xcons for a excab dakota. He gave me the measurments of that box, it would fit but driving around would be uncomfortable since I'm 6'4" tall. Me crank it up never I'm a good person I follow all laws.

Been working with Thumper on building a box for my 2001 s-10 xcab. After many measurements and alot of emails, it looks like I'm going with 3 12" xcons in my truck. My questions are on the xcons should I get the 1ohm or 2ohm subs. And my plan is to use Sundown amps so which would be better the saz3500d or the saz4500d. I work in law enforcement and do alot of police /saftey fair shows plus other shows and comps. This will be a daily driver but I will compete with it so thats why I ask the question about what ohm I should buy.

There are more threads on that website of s-10 wall builds and there are a couple on Steve Meades site. You just have to look through the build logs. Currentlyu I'm figuring out if I want to put 2 xcon 15's in my s-10 xcab. So I'll be watching for your build to see how it turns out.

I'm interested would def make the trip to see some of ya'lls setups. Hopefully help me figure out what I'm going to build. Name the date and time and I'm there with a smile.

Thumper each enclosure you build makes want it more and more. Now you built this enclosure and now I want that. I guess I don't need to see out the back window of my truck that bad. Great looking and sound awsome. Sits and waits impatiently.

Just an update. I figured it out. The problem was that the alt brackets had shifted causing the belt to be to big and the belt tennsioner couldn't keep the belt tight so it would cause the belt to slip. I went back and made a new bracket that will never slip. Now the only thing that happens on low notes is that my idle will drop ever so slightly. But my lights do not dimm.

Dang Thumper now you got me thinking about say the heck with staying below the back window. If I did that would 2 15"s fit in my truck also? I wanna watch my truck vibrate apart like his is going to.

I could only imagine what 2 15" xcons would do to my xcab s-10 if it would fit. I would love to see a video of thos beating up his truck.

Need some help and thoughts. When I crank my system and it starts hitting the low bass notes the engine idle falls and it almost kills the truck. It never did this with my old system. Here is a break down of the old system and the new sytem. I've asked around and no one seems to have an idea other than that the pg amps are power hungry. Old system JL 1000/1 2 JL 12W6 JL 300/4 200 amp alt 2 awg from batt to the fuse block and 4 awg to amps. New setup 2 Pg ti600.2 2 JL 12W6 Ti 500.4 200 amp alt Yellow top under hood all charging wires with 0 awg (big 3) 0 awg wire to a second batt in the truck (kinetik 1800) with 4 awg wire to amps. My voltage doesn't seem to drop and I just had my alt freshened up. The only thing I can think of is the voltage regulator might be going bad which is my next thing to try since my regulator is external. Any one have any thoughts. Thanks

I kinda figured but wasn't sure. I've been a member over there forever and am currently running 2 Ti600.2 to 2 JL 12W6's. Boy are they power hungry. This rebirth as they call it is making me wait to see what all they come out with amp wise. The old PG stuff was top notch equipment and if the new stuff is anything like the old I may just have to stay with Phoenix Gold.
