Here's the 3rd box. T-line needs closed up, sub holes and port hole. Not bad for 2 hrs work though. I ran the float charger on the 2 yellow tops today too.

The t-line is tuned to 30. 2-8's @ 2 ohm load SAZ 1500 = approx 945 watts or 145 over rms. I purchased the following: 1 set of dual one of quad RCA's Knu Krystal 1 3/4 grommet for the firewall 150 ft of 16 gauge knu speaker wire 100 ft of remote power wire from knu as well. Stock positive has a 80 amp fuse on it stock Stinger 80 amp fuse block for replacement of stock. 4 x-scorpion battery terminals 2 of the big 3 are completed I did all of the grounds in 0 gauge I got another 8" so I don't know what I'll end up running. Most likely 3 8's; however, with the recommended enclosure sizing from .6 to 1 cube I still have the option to just cut another hole in most of my designs leaving .75 cubes each . I have began shopping for a used 4 channel amp and think I found a zed designed crossfire 4x100 for 50 dollars. Why is it that in system installs there always seem to be 3 more things to purchase?

So have you conduced any testing on solder? I'm going to use 8awg power wire knu has got it cheep and would like to limit the connections as much as posiable. using your data from above 3 dual speakers would be 12 times. Your data beggs to question: What the results would be under a load? What the results would be using lugs on one end? What the results would be using bolt through box terminals?

I would have thought closer to 55. What's your goal?

In one of my intro threads I remarked it was like an old addiction. Seems as of late well for over 13 years I've mended my ways and laid down my desires for my family. What started as just a small system has resurrected the monster. I have a few goals intended for this system they are: 1. Create a clean install which is removable with minimum effort. The amp rack will support the boxes which will be drop in style and secured down with tie straps NOT okie joe duct tape they will be secure and undetectable as removable. This should give me a triangle in front of the box 10 x 16 to lay a battery or 2 on their sides and mount the amp. The seats fold down for access and there are tie down luggs factory in the same area. Well that's it in concept. Any comments or pointers are appreciated. Here's some good reading links posted that don't sound like guesses. Keep in mind the current draw for the ohm load. It out lines every thing clearly. One note is the testing was for burps not daily music. I'm not sure if any of the posters prior to me even have the amp in question. With that said, I haven't finished my installation so I can't even give my experience yet; however, I have read every thing I could find for my build. Read the saz 1500 post and view all of the videos on the below links. These will give you the basic knowledge to answer your question. I doubt Jacob measured, so just take the cone body diameter plus 1/3 the width of the surround. Dude take time to read prior to commenting. Mr. Obvious, that is what I have been estimating. Since no one but Jacob knows I doubt it would be a problem to measure for a paying customer. I have little patience for disrespectful people. At the present time I have several enclosures in the design and building phase and I don't want to waste either my time or Jacobs.

Jacob I have been estimating the SD for renderings. What is the SD? So I'm not spinning my wheels. Thx
