If you leave that basket as a steering wheel it will be hilarious Maybe just change it at the show, cause it will be unpleasant to drive with. The crowd will love it.
  2. Well why don't you try and see for yourself. Some amps tend to get hot, some don't. Crank it up placed sideways and see if there is a big difference in temperature at the heatsink at the top and bottom. If you have a digital termometre you can show the engineer the difference. And you can always place some small fan to blow at the amp. Hot air travels up.. so in the closed case in the amp a lil more hot air will gather in the upper part inside. But the difference in temperature can be very small.
  3. The quality is very bad and I can't see anything. Gimme a link so I can shoot a better screenshot.
  4. I am really confused about this. Should I get D2 for 1 ohm or D1 sub for 0.5 ? Or maybe 2 ohms ? At 0.5 it requires more juice(more batteries, alternator, wires) and it stresses the system. I understand it that way- when you are playing at 0.5 it is more resistant and you have to throw more power to have the same output in sound. Then why shouldn't I wire to 1 ohm, having less resistance than 0.5, thus resulting I don't have to throw so much power at the subwoofer to make the same output in sound, and not so much stressing to the amp and my electrical installation? I am a Please someone explain to me.
  5. IIRC there was a similar thread posted some weeks ago.

  7. Just FYI saz-1500D can be found under 300$ used if you look around. If you can sell the Hifonics for around the same price and only need to spend couple more $ for the Sundown you can do the switch if you like. Get a car, install your hifonics and xcon, power them properly and if you see some voltage drop add some batts. 140A amp sounds pretty good for 1500-2000W system.
  8. You might be right about that. I use Chrome and have no issues what so ever with it. Also, if it gets to laggy, the other skins are still installed That is what I did. Back to the old skin. Your home page lags too. I don't know is it just me, but you don't want random ppl visiting your home page to get bad expression when they visit, right? " Wtf is this laggy thing, I can't enjoy browsing (closing tab, leaving site) " - random browsing people.
  9. I like it too... but it is very laggy. It's the only skin that lags, the others works just fine. win 7, clocked C2D, 2 GB ram, firefox... I think the problem is not in me.

  11. I like this combination. T Nuts: And Hex Socket
  12. So the SAZ line will be now different? 1000, 1500, 2500, 3500 and 4500. No more 2000 and 3000. I see you already removed 2000D from your site.
  13. Well I live in Bulgaria... You get 20$ an hour, some ppl here get 20$ a day and less. If I can run my amp 0.5 for getting more power for some minutes demoing to someone I will do it. It won't be playing all day long draining my batts low and eventually damaging my amp with low voltage.
  14. Haha. Smart solution. I might do the same with some Sundown Stickers. Did you hide somehow the Selenium logo ? Maybe put some spray paint and then the stickers, right?
  15. You dont need 4000+ watts for those subs at all, yes they can take 4000 watts or better. You can throw a 2000 watt amp on those subs and be surpised and impressed, it all goes down to personal preference. Some will throw underrated power at their subs, some will throw rated power at there subs then you have those that throw overrated power at there subs. I try to stay in the first two categories, since more than rated is not called for or necessary. I don't have a setup yet, so I don't know if it will be loud enough or I'll get used to it and want more. But If i run 2k instead of 4k, the difference in the best situation will be 3 db which I heard if noticeable. Will live, will see...
  16. So what should I do if I want to run two Nightshades for instance? The new ones are going to be rated 2k. So maybe I need two SAZ2000D each. Tell me where I am wrong... It will be 4kw "daily" ?
  17. Will it be able to play below 1 ohm like the other SAZ amps? Of course with lots of batts to back it up. I read something about you changing some internal parts and I am just curious. How would one NS v2 like one of these amps at 0.5 ? You've burped the ns at 10k so maybe it will like it, right?
  18. Depends on the install, the subwoofer, box, the amp and is it giving clean non clipped power...
  19. I've seen some other box builders do the same thing. Why did you leave a gap and not put the part all the way to the end ? Is it stronger that way?
  20. Too much lifting batteries and alts makes some muscles huh ?
  21. Am I the only one who has lag scrolling the Home Page ?
  22. I don't see any price on these? It does the same thing as MLA voltage module? Just maybe cheaper I guess ?
  23. That meter definitely caught my eye. Looks better than TL if you ask me. Any ideas what price is it ?
  24. You can ask the man himself. Email are free you know. He will know if D4 will be on stock or will he be able to build one for you. Or maybe in the future someone can sell his.
