Step by step, man. Take it easy the first couple of times. Happened to me too, but the pain was noticeable only when going upstairs.

On a side note, what is IB good for? Not much power needed, wider frequency range?

Tho I think a 12 should be enough by his standards, a 15 or even an 18 ported should be a fun project.

Hey, Jake. What would you pair them with? How does 100.4(one channel per speaker) sound powering the 10" version? And they seem to get loud, but how do the sound in your opinion?

Alrighty. He is still on the look. I have no idea what he will end up with. Why are you asking (as to get a better idea and give you an answer with the info I got for now)?

Basically he will be getting the same thing as me(at least that is the plan for now). Two huge speakers for all the frequencies and a subwoofer for added bass.

All the other frequencies will be covered. He just wants more bass to the picture. How low, how high? IE, movies or only music and does he care what the mids sound like or what extension? He has no idea what good music is(equipment wise). Basically the best he have seen is his 70$ 5.1 shitty system. He had a birthday and wanted something different, so asked if I could come and with me, my system. He loved it is the least that could be said... and I got nothing that special(the box from the signature and two bookshelf speakers Pioneer cs-5070 all powered by a Pioneer A-209R). Anyway... music is the main priority here. The mids and highs(and lows) will be played by other speakers. He just wants a subwoofer to add more BOOM. 30 to 80hz? I don't know.

What is the best enclosure type for home audio, bass oriented? A friend wants me to make him a subwoofer box and wanted to buy my box, but it might be sold till then, so I want to make him something even better than a regular ported.
