i'm doing a build with 8 re se 12's these things are sick.. i'm sure the box will be awsome!

big 3, extra batt and enough space to fit either of them they look the same on paper and are built by the same people so just seeing if anyone has had both or would know the differences i have 22 cubes worth of space available and the 3500 will be at .93 ohms (3 dual 2's) car is a 2004 cavalier walled into the trunk and i have a 10 cube sixth order now with a btl 15

purely output in this comparrison both will be off a sundown 3500 in a wall

got a btl 15 for partial trade!

i have a sundown 3500 d and i will be running 3 fi ssd 18's d2's and i talked to scott from fi last night and he said my best option would be to wire them in series to a .93 load will this be safe daily?

also scott e-mailed me back late last night ans the ssd's will be tweaked to be more spl geared : ) .... gotta love FI'S customer service!!! fi FTW!

thanks the ssd's are where we are goin with ... 18 cubes after displacements and tuned to 32 hz

i emailed fi thursday asking scott or nick if the ssd could be custom ordered to be more spl based than just "loaded" but no one has responded so i figured i'd put it up here and maybe one or the other would chime in

thats what we are leaning towards but just gettin some opinions lol

right now i have 1 fi btl 15 fully loaded and a sundown 3500d i hit a 147.3 on two 40 amp fuses ( meca mod 2) but i will be moving to meca mod 3 and was wondering which would be louder with the 3500. i have a 2004 cavalier and it's walled off so space is not an issue... the three ssd 18's would be the new model fully loaded and would be dual 1's for a 1.3 ohm load and 3 40 amp fuses. the tho bl's would also be fully loaded d1's for a 1 ohm load and would have 3 50 amp fuses... thanks for the help

it'l be a while on the build log this would be a meca world finals set up so thats in october... no reason to play all your cards this early in the season. the btl 15 is holdin it's own right now

whats the price on these now that the pre order is over? if it matters i will be ordering 8 of them

type r's can be nasty if you know what you are doing with them 2 type r 12's 152.7 at headrest on limited fusing!

1 got a btl 15 in a 10 cube sixth order go as big as recamended from fi or a lil more but the bigger the more efficient it will be and you should be safe even with that kinda power i'm that big of a box and run a saz 3500 at half ohm for competition

the independance had nothing to do with the statement other than saying that it would have been even louder than that at .5 ohm and it still sounds amazing if done right

bandpass it man i got a BTL 15 in a 6th order hit a 147 at 2 ohms last weekend they get loud and if done right sound VERY good!!!

no i wasnt at winterfest the build wasnt done yet but this weekend is casper and i will be there

i'll be there, testing all the random things to gain some tenths now. two weeks and countin.. and yes shizzon it is in the building i can't remember if we pay for parking tho... and its key power only because we will be inside

hit a 153.1 last night on .5 ohm with no reserve batts they were messin up so thats runnin threw 4 gauge with just the security 80 amp fuse

i will i'm ordering some tonight for the show

and yeah i'm testing fuses no hopefully pop over a 150 but i won't unless i have to to win or move on to day 2
