  1. Hoping it to be central or northern california Also does anyone know out of all their lines which ones have motor widths of less than 6.75"?
  2. So I see AA is affiliated with fiaudio? Why not just have more sub lines at fi? Anyways whats the difference in these subs compared to fi? And what sub would you recommend that doesnt have a motor diamter of more than 6.75" and the over all depth of the sub not deeper than 7" And can handle a sundown 1200 v2. Looking for 2 12s
  3. Nope, I heard from an insider who was at the meeting where the decision was announced. It was supposed to be kept quiet, but Rockford leaked the story to look as though they dropped BBY. Yea sure buddy and lady gaga is really a chick
  4. i want a good mix of hard hitting and SQ Its a down fire sealed box under my crew cab silverado seat about 1 cu ft of air space per sub. I would love to get something for $200 a sub if not less. But if theres a great deal out there Id be willing to spend about $250 each
  5. Cant be deeper than 7" and the magnet diameter cant be bigger than 6.75" Must be a 12" And Ive already got the box and paid for it so it HAS to meet these standards Its a downfire box under the seat of my crew cab silverado Running an Sundown 1200 v2
  6. goals? Is just hard deep hitting bass a goal? I want it to HIT and I want it to get as deep as "possible" I had to scratch going with a ported box, so now its a sealed box. Either 2 12s or 3 10s
  7. oh I wasnt asking which is better only stating what these shop owners had to say. Why is it most car audio shop owners are such arsehos, most were pretty rude. But the one guy who looked up sundown already knew I had the amp and knew I wasnt going to buy a JL from him and still said the 1000/1 would easily give the sundown 1200D a run for its money. But yes he wanted ALOT more money for the JL than I paid for the sundown.
  8. I will be running my new sundown 1200D that I got from the preorder The deepest sub I can go with is 6.5 so Im thinking Id get with 2 high powered 10s. But they will probably only get .75cu ft per sub What subs would you all recommend?
  9. He said they pull less amps and have more adjustability. He also tried to get me to get a W3 over getting an SA12 He looked up sundowns website and looked at their product and said it looked great and all but JL was still better. LOL What do you guys think about that? Also 3 different car audio shops I went to hadnt even heard of sundown. I tried telling them they are a top rated company on the car audio forums and they all looked at me like I didnt know WTF I was talking about
  10. Whats the mounting depth on these subs? 2 of these would be perfect if its not too deep
  11. You started shipping yesterday correct? When will shipping all be done for the pre orders? And do we get tracking numbers? Just want to know when mines coming so neighborhood kids dont steal my package.
  12. Is the xmax what allows a sub to get deep? Cause I noticed your 8s have alot more xmax than the normal 8, so that makes me curious if they perform more like a 10" than an 8"??
  13. Would 2 of these 8s in a properly ported box outperform say 1 12" Fi BL in a ported box? Both ran off your 1200d V2
  14. I pre ordered at the $280 price Is it safe to say that we should recieve our amps by xmas? Or atleast a real good chance of it?
  15. What do you mean the port is trivial? And why does fiberglass make the build more possible? Im not familiar with all that stuff lol
  16. That sounds like an Ext Cab, not a Crew Cab. I thought the Crew's were smaller... 2cuft is about what you will be able to achieve. What part is smaller? Its definitely a crew cab, Ive owned 5 GM trucks so I know lol The height measurements im giving you allows for pushing up on the bottom of the seat. It doesn’t matter to me if someone back there sits on a hard seat lol. Rarely do I have a full loaded truck anyways.
  17. New body, so that hump in the middle isn’t as tall as the classic
  18. 55” long, 14” deep and height under the seat is slanted so it goes like this 9” at front 7.5” in middle and 5.5” at the back Now I know I can get .5” more height from lifting the seat POSSIBLY .75” more in height so how much air space does that give me, including the port that needs to go in the box
  19. So I have a 2007 crew cab silverado which is limited to what I can put under the seat Would you guys go with 3 8" SA-8s or 1 12" Fi BL with all upgrades in a ported box? I listen to rock, country and some alternative. I like hard hitting bass with the ability to get a deep rumble I see the SA-8s have a pretty good xmax compared to most 8s so will this allow it to hit deeper than most other 8s? Need to know today because of the sale going on on the SA-8s
  20. I live in modesto california, which is north of fresno and south of sacramento honestly I could build it myself but I just dont have the time til after the 1st of the year and I want the system in before xmas
  21. 7.25 is too deep Im going to put it under my seat of a crew cab silverado
  22. A BTL is 8" deep isnt it? or 7.5 What is the XCON?
  23. lots of deep rumbling bass and something thatll make it feel like im getting hit in the back of my seat
  24. I think Im going to go with an XCON if the depth isnt too bad, anyone know what it is on a 12"? And would you all go with a XCON over a fully loaded Fi BL, give honest opinons
  25. 55" long, 15" wide and 9" at the front of the seat to the floor 7.5 in the middle to the floor and at the smallest part at the back is 5"
