Oak and birck ply are better and worse in their own ways. Better beacuse they are lighter and look nicer worse becaues they tend to cost 2x as much as MDF and can split and have voids inside which can lead to leaks if not sealed up. The weight greatly outweighs the cost IMO.

I dont get this.... 06 charger with a 180A rated alt has 8ga coming from it then to the battery in the rear is 1/0ga going to the front. And there is like 2 grounds in the same spot on the engine block. My friend gets some nice dimmage when he turns it up but 180A alt shouldnt dim like that. Battery is my redtop

All i can say is...in the same enclosure my RL-i was noticeably louder than my e8a with less watts. It sounds like your average 12 sealed off of like 300W Mind you....i tad it in a TCAE with cannon ports tuned pretty high (43hz) but it still sounded good.
