  1. 90% of the time it is 1 of a few different seals on the firewall. The a/c box will Only leak over to the drivers side during Hard cornering. And when that happens it will usually run over on your feet if you don't have shoes on. The other Major seal that likes to leak over time goes around the steering column. But the Best choice I have found Many Many times over the years are where someone has drilled & or shoved that power wire through to the passenger compartment. I Always take a caulk gun & use some Fast 5 min setup clear silicon & silicon the Shit out of where ever I rammed wire through.

  4. Well I will tell You first hand it will bring between 250-350. The problem with This Series VIII is that it is a Early run that still uses the Uni Connector for the power & ground. They went Back to hard wiring like the Series 7's for the last of the Series VIII's. The Other thing that will determine the window of $'s is How many of the White mounting feet are there???? It came with 6 originally. Most only have 4. Also if the Uni Connectors are original. Is the serial # sticker still on the lower cover. It will say Zues & the serial number with a bar code. I collect these & have way more than 1. You can email me some Detailed full size pics & I will make you an offer for it to be added to a Vast Zed collection.
  5. NEW KRONOS in the box on Ebay........ Signed by STEVE http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Zed-Kronos-amplifier-full-range-class-D-RARE-/180667281391?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item2a109befef#ht_500wt_1156
  6. It sounded like it will be from what Steve said when I spoke with him last week. I have to call him tomorrow on another repair so I will ask him if he has a ETA on the first run.
  7. Anyone members interested in a June 2011 group purchase so We can get a discount on some Awesome products? I personally want to get a RA for the daily driver. I have a couple fellow audiophiles that have bought them & said the difference in fa nominal. After speaking with Steve about it I'm ready. "RA is a dedicated sub woofer control preamplifier. It interfaces between the signal source and the amplifier. There are four circuit blocks within RA, the low pass crossover, the sub-harmonic synthesizer, the compressor and the final gain stage. Specifications -Stereo input to mono output -24dB per octave Linkwitz Riley Low Pass crossover. -Twin band Sub-Harmonic Synthesizer. -Variable threshold compressor "tightens up the bass" and prevents amplifier clipping. -12dB (x4) final gain stage with master volume control. -Internal switchmode power supply assures 100% galvanic ground isolation. -Tiffany RCA's with Teflon inserts are used for ultimate quality and reliability. -Made in the USA" Let me know if any of you guys are interested. We Need 9 others. . . . . . THANKS
  8. Looks Great! I miss the old sound effects. . . .

  10. Thanks! I have a few others that are in my cars. . . . . . I have 6 now & trying to limit it down to 4 by summers end.
  11. I have been using it since 1994-95 with NO ISSUES!! I have used it on at least 60 Different customers cars not to mention All of my own. WE Actually use it on ALL cars Before we tune them on the dyno. I have only used it in the oil of 3 or 4 cars that had over 200,000 miles and were all sludged up from neglect of oil changes. I use it by sucking it through the intake Majority of the time through the main vacuum hose that goes to the brake power booster. DONT DO IT AT HOME EITHER!!! I HAVE HAD NEIGHBORS CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT THINKING THE HOUSE WAS ON FIRE FROM ALL THE SMOKE. . . . . I suck about 1/2 to 5/8 of the can with the engine at around 2000-2500 rpm. Once it stops smoking from that I will drive for a couple to few miles. . . Then pull into a parking lot and suck the rest of the can @ idle trying to Not let it stall out until its empty. If it doesn't stall out by dipping the hose in & out of the liquid I will just hurry & shut it off. Now I let it sit for 5-10 min. . . Depending on the sludge build up on the intake valves & pistons faces it may smoke even worse when you start it back up. I have had cars I had to drive for 40 miles on the freeway to get them to quit smoking. Then I will change the oil & filter due to the fact some will get by the rings & make it into the crank case. IT DOES WONDERS on un Gumming stuck rings. We have had cars pick up 30-40 psi on compression tests after a Quick Simple SeaFoam. I build & tune race cars for a living & have for MANY Years & speak from pure Knowledge. There is a Much Better product out there that is Much less corrosive that you can use Safely add to the oil to clean INSIDE the crankecase also. It is called AUTO RX. Good Luck!!
  12. YES It is a Steve produced ZED Audio built EQ. Let me know when you want to sell it!! It will be added to a Nice Zed Collection.

  16. That is the stuff that the hoodlums sell in conversion vans. They approach you like in a parking lot saying they need money to get home or some other BS story and this is the last set they have you can get these $600 speakers for $150 just cause they need to get back to Alabama. . . . . . . . . . Overseas JUNK
  17. x2 How old are they? The pictures suggest a little bit of age. Yeah they are from 1986-1990 I was told. They are referred to as the "Holy Grail" of JBL home speakers. They were the TOP Model they produced. This was one of the quotes I found by JBL. "The speaker was designed by Greg Timbers, Steve Lyle and Lorr Kramer. It was JBL's first time aligned system and resulted in a speaker with unparalleled soundstage coherence. Unfortunately, this system was not a marketing success. It was very expensive to build and was too significant a departure in sound from JBL's horn based speakers of the past. I also know that the 14" odd ball woofer is good to 30hz so there was NO need for a sub. The cabinet is MASSIVE. They have to weigh at least 140lbs each. I can't wait to get the woofers fixed and get them set up. Awesome. Post pics when you get the bottom drivers fixed. I love older equipment. Are you using them for stereo or HT? For stereo use. I have them set-up in the basement with the weights for working out. The money I was going to use to fix them I ended up spending on a bunch of Old School Crunch subs BRAND NEW IN THE BOXES. Didn't need them but couldn't pass them up.
  18. Here is an example of a HIGH quality filter and a POS cheapy. Look at just the difference in size. This was on a girlfriends little 4 cylinder import.
  19. Here is some of a 70 SS 454 I did a frame off build for a customer. After I got the frame back from powder coating I was playing around with what I thought was some cool pics. These are some random shots I took on a shitty rainy day. This is from a S-10 I built for a customer. He wanted a small tire low 9 second truck. The day my little brother died 11-2-07 in my other brothers 64 Cutlass. It has a 330 that we bored .120 over with a custom ground nitrous cam.
  20. Shitty camcorder pic but I have more to come of this TRUE BEAUTY! 1 of 20 ever built. Yes I took it to the track and beat it WITH the A/C on it went 11.0's @ 127-129 These are from US 41 at the end of last year we went up there with 3 nitrous cars to do some tuning. It is a cool track where you can do some BIG money street racing without worrying about the law or getting told to go home for going 10.40's with NO roll bar.
