Optimum sealed vs small ported
Ive heard from alot of people that an underpowered amp is still bad on the sub. Is that just if the signal is clipped? And isn't that normally the deck more then the amp? Srry to bother everyone here but im just curious and there is alot of misinformation out there. Atleast here I feel like i can trust what i hear.

Optimum sealed vs small ported
I can push maybe 18" deep, width up to 12 1/2", and then im gonna go up as far as i need to. If i can keep it below 16" that would be amazing but when i tried to work out the port length it would of ended up like 20" tall. I wasn't really excited about that. The other thing that caught my eye is guys running ICONs at low power, just wondering if that was in ported or sealed boxes. I would guess ported but just a thought. Im looking for SQ just so there arent any more questions

Optimum sealed vs small ported
Ive spent all day trying to figure out how to calculate ports and design a box that would fit in my truck like i want it, now im wondering is it even worth it? In yalls opinion what would sound better for a 10" dcon, a small ported box or the optimum sealed. Either box would be sitting in the center of the backseat with the sub firing up in a Crew Cab Colorado. Amp would give 420+ RMS at 2 Ohms or 210+ RMS at 4 Ohms. Just dreaming atm but thats half the fun. Thanks in advance for all the help

Fiberglass vs MDF Subwofer enclosures
I have a Crew Cab colorado and the plan for the box was to build a fiberglass enclosure and paint it so it would look nice sitting in the middle of the rear seat. Im gonna make it look like a center console and depending on final plans may remove the middle part of the seat and actually set the box down into the seat frame. I was gonna use Fibergalss because it gives you alot more flexibility on how your lines flow. If it is that much of a hassle I could use MDF but I'd never get the lines I want. Im not experienced with fiberglass boxes, everyone ive ever built was MDF but I wanted to try something different this summer when i have some time on the weekends and a steady income stream. there just aren't many options with these trucks and besides doing a blow thru, which ill think about later, this is the only one i really liked.

Fiberglass vs MDF Subwofer enclosures
Lately I've been looking into Fibeglass subwoofer enclosures and I'm just wondering if they function any differently then an MDF enclosure? I've done some research and wouldn't think it would affect the sound if it was properly constructed but alot of people online have said that MDF is the way to go. Is that just because MDF is so much easier to work with or does fiberglass really affect the output of the woofer? Also, after looking around the site alot of people here use fiberglass for speakers and midbass drivers but not many use it for Subs and that got me worrying about it too. If any of the Guru's here could shed some light on the subject it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help. Cade

Favorite supplement
My best results came off an AH-89 stack, but it was designed to cut more then anything. For mass alot of my friends had good results on Trend Stacks. Think theyre both illegel now though, don't know haven't looked at that in over a year. My favorite stack though is still Xplode, with your whey and vitamins and a clean high protein diet. It gives good results and isn't nearly as hard on your liver
