  7. I seen that listed as mounting depth, that was the first place I checked. I would expect that to be from the bottom of the mount to the bottom of the motor/magnet... correct me if I'm wrong and if I am wrong then thank you for the answer.
  8. i was wondering if u could help me out sundownz... i am trying to find the depth of a sundown e8 v1 from the top of the surround to the bottom of the magnet. i am doing a stealthy build and depth is a big restriction. thanx in advance

  13. that seems to be what a lot of people are saying. thats why after wire and batts get here i shall send my 12 inch 05 xxx to fi to get matched to my other fi reconed 18in xxx.
  14. i have a set of bravox carbon fiber comps and a set of coaxials i was thinking bout grabbing another pair of coax's and putting them up front with my comps. i can mount midbass in door and tweeter on a pillar or in kickpod with coax or coax in the door and comp set in the kick panel. (best spot for tweeters? kick or high up on a pillar?) i was planning on running the front comps active but if i can't due to this setup i prob won't care since it'll be easier to do this and prob louder. my main reason for more speakers is i am guessing that i will not be able to hear music over the bass and i would like it somewhat close to balanced (2 18in XXX) i was wondering if it is a dumb idea to put the coaxs with the comps up front? any input on anything would be freakin awsome
  15. sundown ampguts are like car audio porn, mmmm. my 3000d has been sitting in a box since i got it in august. cant wait to get the bish powered up
  16. Ok, so I have a yellow top group 34 up front right now in my suv. I am upgrading my stereo system and will be running a Sundown Saz 3000d a JL audio 500/5 and a JL e4300. I will be using a mechman 275 amp alt and I need help deciding what to do for the batteries. Can I hook up the optima to a xs power d3100 and expect to see good results? or a d3400 up front to a xs power d3100 in the back. Is it alright to hook up batteries that are of different classes? I can't fit a 31 series up front but it looks like a good battery for the back. Last but not least I have seen good deals on a optima yellow top d31t. Would that be a good option to hook up to the optima I have now? Would it be sufficient to power my system in your opinion? It would be cheaper for me to grab the one d31t for the back but I wouldn't bother if it ain't gonna get the job done. I appreciate any help guys thanks.
  17. ive heard the brazilians are pretty serious bout their car audio and maybe walmart knows this. i got cf comps and coax's and they are awsome.

  19. you feeding the midbass and the tweeters 100rms or are your gains dialed back? I am just trying to figure out myself what to feed them. Great review!
  20. I just purchased some bravox cs60cf components and I would like to run them active. I would like to know what is a good rms to give the tweeter and a good rms for the midbass. I have a jl 500/5 that gives 100 rms for front two channels and 25 rms for the back two.
  21. Just got my cf comps and coax's today. They look awsome can't wait to hear them. thanks ssa for the great deal
  22. That is awsome. SSA FTW
  23. What amp where you using and whats it rated at? Also you said you know it is not clipping, did you hook up an o-scope to make that determination? How did you set the gain? There's quite a bit left out here in my opinion. Anyway the only solution to this problem is a recone or to buy a new one.
  24. Lol I'd make the delivery dude carry it in if it were real. I should order it and complain if they send out 50ft. Lol
