  1. I was at a show and I got a picture taken of me in front of my truck and the guy said he was going to put in the MECA Magazine. Where can i find this?
  2. How's the suspension on the truck? Take this into consideration. Also show some more pictures of the truck
  3. They're the same unless my mind is playing tricks on me.. but i would say option 2 because it uses less wire. Go off this: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=1&I=22#results
  4. I got SMD's #61 and #62 Great videos, wish i could of fit 18s!
  5. Working on it lol. Saving up for my DC Power 270XP, then I'll send some more clean power to them. Finally got a carbon flex vid! lol. 3 Peat by Lil' Wayne is still by far the best on those mids though, I'll post that up next time I make a video. i watched this video a couple days ago..looks like your voltage is pretty good for a stock alt. I'm really happy that the car has a stock 120 amp alt lol. I just can't turn the XCON's up as much as I would like to without sending the amplifier into clipping due to voltage drop (not that they aren't loud as it is ) As a side note, it's kind of funny how much quieter my car seemed while this video was made because his XXX's had just punched me in the face haha. I know the feeling. My jeep isn't that loud to begin with, but once I stepped in BanginGMCs truck and Marks rocket ship, boy did I "lose" some bass Yeah, sorry about that

  8. I like the confidence! Here's a break down for you.. You need an High Output alternator from https://www.dcpowerinc.com/ You need batterie(s) from http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/categories/Batteries-%26-Electrical/ An alternator will charge your rides eletrical system once your car is started. With the equipment you are buying you will need a big alternator, see if they have a 270XP alternator for your ride. You will need big powerful batterie(s) this is just as important as the alternator. The batterie(s) will help your alternator out when there is a lot of quick/long current draw (like bass notes). If you don't have the big batterie(s) along with the alternator your alternator will get over stressed and will die very shortly. You should upgrade the batt under your hood and add another battery as well. First, buy the alternator from DC.. not some shitty ass local company. Then buy the most biggest/power battery that will fit in your stock batt location. Then get a stinger volt meter, and hook it up (easy as fuck) and watch your voltage for a couple days and if you drop into the 12's a lot get a XS D3100 secondary battery.
  9. That is something that i've read about plasmas while researching, but i have a decent sized house and i don't think it should be a problem.. assuming the electrical is beefy.
  10. One set of tweeters, or one component set isn't going to work, even if they're positioned perfect. 150+dB on music will drowned it out like there not even there.
  11. Isn't it unique seeing subwoofers in abnormal enclosures? Post what ya got/find! I'll start
  12. I've been looking at the HT-S9300THX I've read almost 200 post on http://www.avsforum....=1057095&page=6 and they've all been great positive feed back on the older model HT-S9100THX.. so i'd imagine the newer model is better then that. I've been thinking about getting a Onkyo receiver and adding speakers like you've mentioned.. because HTIB speakers aren't the best but, i've read that the receiver in the S9300 is almost EXACTLY the same as the 606, it seems to have everything i need and it's about the same price as the S9300THX.. so i am thinking about getting the S9300 and then if needed upgrade the speakers later on. Positive feedback from those who know nothing about audio and have crappy hearing. You also said it yourself, your room is too small for 7.1 In your budget 2 speakers will sound better than the 7.1 EASILY. I thought Plasmas are poo poo and LCD is the way to go, am i wrong? Yes, completely. Plenty of seriously kick ass Plasma's. However, HTIB also poo poo...that you didn't get right either. http://www.plasmatvbuyingguide.com/plasmatvreviews/plasma-vs-lcd.html in my Room i have a 300 dollar sony 5.1 surround system, it sounds great In my opinion... for my first home theater system it's not bad.. it has "auto calibration" which made things very easy. If you're just an occasional user of a HT system, an AIO system will not disappoint unless it's some piece of shit. Pm'd

  15. Bump for more suggestions
  16. I am planning on finally stepping up the entertainment system in my room like i've planned for a while, this is going to be strictly for Gaming and Movies. Luckily for me, the foot print of the room isn't huge.. so a lot of big equipment won't be needed, I can get measurements of the room if necessary. Before I get ahead of myself with listing equipment, right now I need suggestions on the following: *Home Theater in a Box 7.1 or 5.1 surround system w/ a receiver to power them that's compatible with a gaming console such as an Xbox360 and PS3 (The budget is roughly 700.00) *Projector with a really high resolution. (The budget is roughly 1000.00) *Projection Screen 50"+ (The budget is roughly 400.00) Now, if i could get a great 50"+ TV for around the price of the Projector and screen put together, i'll definitely go with that.. seeing as mounting the projector will be tricky, but I am looking for the best bang for my buck So generally the overall budget is roughly 2100.00 but as you can see I have a higher budget for whats more important to me in the build.. BUT if necessary, I will spend more. One Projector I was looking at was Epson - PowerLite Home Cinema 8100 Projector A motorized screen would be kick ass, but those can get expensive as i'm seeing on BestBuy.com. The lighting in the room can be completely dark because i know sunlight can effect the picture on the screen.. but that isn't an issue here. The length I would be having the Projector on would vary from 1-8 hours at a time, possibly more if I pull an all nighter. I have looked into TV's, but i haven't really been confident with my choices because i suck at buying TV's. List of TV's from BestBuy.com i've been looking at. I would like to buy locally, just in case something goes wrong I can return it to the store and talk to the people face to face.. but if not, that's okay too. Also, for reference, games I play are the Call Of Duty's, and the volume would be more then halfway up as I play.. so the HTIB would have to be able to handle that. Please let me know if I left any information out that would help you help me Thanks, Dom.
  17. How much was shipping for each one?
  18. The enclosure and install will determine how much "bassier" you get.
  19. I missed the budget, but noticed the power. 1 AA SMD could work for ya, since we're all giving opinions.
  20. When they were blowing on it? Biology 101 We inhale Oxygen and Exhale Carbon Dioxide. You're joking right? If they blow from that kind of distance it will get more oxygen then Carbon dioxide. Nobody was smart enough to pop the hood and disconnect power wires? and then put water on it? Thank you Kirill
  21. Now we're talkin'
  22. SMD's can't even take 3k lol. They can't even take 3 watts
  23. I piss 3k daily lol and no, the XCON will melt haha
