I have a ext cab pick up and i put the subs/port firing forward and it was loud then i put the box so the subs/port were firing up and... fuckin aye did it make a big difference! i suggest trying that.

You have to love the talent, but WHY? The "POS" GMC above won a SHIT load of trophies because of its beauty. The talent it takes to make a truck look like that is unbelievable.

Loud is a word that can be defined differently by each of its own. So, i don't know what you mean when you say loud. Also, you shouldn't decide on the equipment you are going to get on the factor of what will sound louder in a sealed box because thats asinine.. you should research the equipment you are wanting and figure out what kind of enclosure best suits the driver. I have only seen people buy drivers based on what enclosure it would be best in is when space is the main issue.

If the bass boost is off though, won't I have to turn up the gain to make up for the loss? The gain is not a volume knob... ina sense.
