Difference between a big box and small box
Mechanical power handling goes down but thermal is still the same so no reason for coil smell

Grey flares need one more layer of primer and I'm done with this order. Talk about putting elbow grease into it...

Rear loading wall for a wall
Have you tried dicking around with the things in the car ? Headrests, visors, vents, glovebox, armrest, seat position ? In one setup I've seen a 0.3 gain just by taking out the rear headrests. Rear seat down actually hurt the score. Is the port flared ? Box super smooth on the inside ? Try that loading wall too. Test different sizes and report back. Good luck !

Audison VRX 1.500
Around 1800w rms at 1 ohm. With some cooling fans it has no problems running 13w7 with coils in parallel, which is a 0.7dcr load. Swapping in an SPL Dynamics EXT2000D instead of a VRX 1.500 gained 0.8dB. Not too shabby performance for a class A/B monoblock. Seems like you got the chrome shadow version...if it's silver.

Digicam crapped out, all pics had horizontal lines. Bought a replacement today and the case was in bad shape, so was the lcd and some of the buttons were worn. Swapped cases and all is well. This isn't a good time to go camera shopping...

Check suspension bushings? Warped brake disks ? Had that in the vw...replaced the front disks, it was fine until the rears warped

relocating batteries
The way I'd do it is to run a wire from the front battery terminal to one of the batteries. Wire both batteries in parallel, ground them in 2 spots on the body and run ground wire to the front battery terminal.

Warder or DC level 5 both are 15"
40% less power drawn from the electrical system ? The first part of the post seems normal given the efficiency difference mentioned by Duran. Maybe if it has a much tighter gap? Which still doesn't explain drawing less power from the electrical system. I assume shizzon meant for the same score, which makes sense. Otherwise, SPL motor or not, measure 24kw on it and the amps will draw the same power from the electrical system all the time.

How to keep your box from crumblin to pieces...
Resin on the inside and wood glue on the joints are 2 totally different things. Resining the inside will add no strength to the joints of the panels.

A friend's car has 2 faulty switches in a module...the dealer wants an arm and a leg for the whole module. We find the switch manufacturer and find one of the switches in their parts catalog but the company doesn't want to sell us the switch claiming the project is customer protected... Why do they still keep the part in the catalog if they don't want to sell it ?

How about a sale on Spectrum
You don't catch crap for starting the thread, you catch crap for the attitude, simple as that. If somebody knows what they are doing and they say a product is crap, maybe, just maybe you could look at that as help...

I can't imagine only 1080p on a 25 foot monitor. That must look like shit if you are anywhere near it ;P Go big or go home. Reminds me of the moon rover. Do the math in feet, program rocket in meters. Measure with a micrometer, cut with a sawzall Measure with a micrometer, mark with a piece of chalk, cut with an axe, much much better results

Xcon help!
Sounds like a loading issue. From what I can gather, a loading board behind the sub farthest from the port will help. Start with a board half the width of the cone and experiment with different widths and distances from the sub. The funky loading could also cause different impedance functions on each of the subs. Lower impedance = more current, so the extra heat could be an effect of the loading.

2 way and 3 way, Im confused
If you are sure you won't keep the car for a long time, at least seal all the gaps in the door. It will make a tremendous difference. Good choice on the 800PRS.
