  1. if you plan to use acordian boot, round out your metal corner cuts cause that boot will not seal good on 90 degree cuts ... Does he have a bed cover ?? ... and I'm thinking that a 18" driver will need to have a good bit of angle on it to fit below the bed trim line ...
  2. i could watch that vid all day ... LOL
  3. is that yours ??
  4. Me either ... Austrailian product / company ???
  5. You have a very cool looking machine there brother !!! Alexis drove it from the parking areas to the competition lanes every time she did SPL runs. It had to be driven, too heavy to pick up ... So yes, true to the rules ... That Caddy operated just like an actual power wheels machine ... And a question here ... on this machine, the mic went into the passenger kick pannel (you literally have to open and close the passenger door) just like any other spl vehicle. So it had to be modified to work properly. Where do you install your mic for SPL readings ??? I'm assuming into the port like port wars, which technically not correct under USACI rules ... Please understand that I'm not trying to argue with you in any way ... I'm just trying to understand the rules better because I have a friend interested in building one, but not for the same class Alexis ran in ...
  6. Awesome Work (I guess thats what you call what you do ... LOL) Brian !!! as usual ... See you soon brother !!!
  7. National Bass Association ???
  8. oh ... sorry brother Can't give much details cause its not my vehicle, but this vid is where it had that shitty RD Audio susbs and amplifiers ... but managed to pound out a whopping 177 db on the meter ... Now this is the one where it has the Updated 12s and the massive Linear Power 4.1HVS amplifiers on 14.4 volts ... The vid will show the outcome of the upgrades ... 180.9 db at 77 htz ...
  9. Not sure brother USACI Mini MSX SPL ... I think it was the open class (no restrictions other than being a powerwheel and a kid driver)
  10. Welcome to SSA One of our team members has something similar ... Best of luck with your setup !!!
  11. Good luck with coming up with something unique
  12. cool looking driver brother !!!
  13. Welcome to SSA Sounds like you went to a USACI competition with the classes you mentioned ... mic on the dash w/ windows up and doors closed = legal mic in the kick pannel w/ one door open = outlaw mic in the port = port wars
  14. Def. wasn't thinking that this would be your logic for using a 20 htz tune ... Cool looking enclosure though ...
  15. sorry to hear about the kid's hurt arm ... Hope he gets well soon !!!
  16. Dang ... thats neat !!! Wish I had Facebook Jump in a Sound Qiality vehicle every now and then. Who ?? I sure hope that sub amp and your electrical can dig down that deep ... would be very interesting to see and hear !!! Sure wish I could get a demo sometime !!! Best of luck with your Setup Sir !!! Spammer alert !!!
  17. I will place an order if I can get them hand delivered by Mark or Aaron at World Finals this year ...
  18. I need to update my build logs ... been slacking lately Been concentrating too much on those damn HID projectors instead of the system ...
  19. Thanks man! How is your build coming along? The car has been put on hold while we get the truck ready for World Finals ...New paint, headliner, tires, engine work, and of course ... ALOT of Sound Quality tuning and gain matching ... I will be in MECA MODDEX as my classifiaction this year, but I'm thinking about signing up USACI Extreme just once to go head to head with Todd Crowder's Camaro just to see how my truck does against the absolute best in the world ... I'm sure he will blow my doors off, but you never know ...
  20. Most SUVs I see with a similar setup normally have the sub / port aimed to the rear of the vehicle. Some With the subs up and ports to the rear ... but mostly sub(s) port(s) to the rear ... Now I did not say that this is how I would set it up or recommend to set yours up, but it's what I see being done ... Guess the best for you is trial and error to see what sounds best for you and your vehicle's application ... Best of luck with your Setup Sir ... I'm tuned in, cause every X-Con I've got to hear sounds really bad ass !!! I'm planning either a pair of X-Cons or Evils for my son's extended cab truck similar to mine ... powered by the new Linear Power LP2400 ...
