  2. Awesome man, glad to see your sticking to the plan, cool the wife is doing the same.

Yep. I believe it's a diesel. It has a battery bank underneath the car, and a steel subwoofer enclosure flush with the cargo area floor.

LOL, I always thought it was written as beamer, never thought of bimmer.

    Beamer.

    So clean.
  7. Jacob, have you found this across all programs for the most part?

Oh and Sean, I adjusted the xo settings for the exodus' just so I could listen to music in the mean time. Crossed at 80hz and no Lpf. Ran the sweeps, tried some music figuring it might be okay at low volume. Turns out it doesn't sound half bad at almost daily listening volume. Definitely surprised me.

Deadened the doors today, surprisingly I was able to fit mlv. Haven't driven it yet, but no more rattling and panel resonance.

Never gonna let you down.. Never gonna run around and hurt you... Fixed. And desert you, then hurt you.

    Never gonna let you down..
  13. Oh okay, I just misread.
  14. What would happen at 53 degrees? Shouldn't the delay between these two sound sources always remain the same, regardless of temperature? Sure the speed of sound changes in relation to temperature, but both sources are effected.

It is dangerous for you to know, better to try them all. I was only curious, as his crossover points were quite low, and especially when he initially said lpf, I was thinking what?! I'm glad that's one thing I have some flexibility on with the ms8, fair amount of slopes to play with. Lower the better, but look at his drivers. Geared exactly for that. Basically he's running a full range setup, but reinforcing the midbass with subs that can play high in the doors and reinforcing the cone area of the subs with the BTL. You'd like the cross points on my computer speakers. That's right there aren't any Mr. Fullranger. My computer speakers are finally taking a shit, I have to squeeze the side of the volume knob for it to play, if I bump the desk, one channel cuts out. LOL. Your using a receiver, but what do you think about one of those small dayton amplifiers, class-t, or something? The ones at PE, under fifty bucks, 15watts or so. Paired with the TBs. Depends on your ideas of reference levels and what you are listening to. Thought about it myself, but until I build the home theater and have a need for the Pio Elite I might as well use it. The TB's aren't exactly efficient, but you are near field and really for me I don't turn it up that much. I don't listen very high at the desk, so that shouldn't be much of an issue verse the car.
  16. I was asking who owned the hummer, but nobody would tell me. I wanted to get some details. The 930 there holds a special place in my heart and will always be my first love, my uncle owned a couple. You still have my number and feel free to give me a ring anytime I am close to where you are. Trippi's hummer. A google search should bring up his youtube account and various build logs.
  17. Bingo. I do not know how this will affect the frequency pathlengths at the listening position - front seats. I would think it would be immaterial at these frequencies. Your talking about a few millisecond in delay.

Er' was more suggesting not to be afraid to overlap the lower x-over point of the mid with the sub if needed for blending. I hope my analogy of the song you posted yesterday helped understand the concept. Yeah I saw where you were going.
  20. I could be full of it, but: Imagine your enclosure was twice the size, so it took up the entire trunk area and rear deck area. Your port would still be on top of the box (where it would be coming out of the rear deck), and your driver would be mounted facing forward. This imaginative enclosure would be nothing special, only difference is, your enclosure volume is smaller. Your talking about a loss of output due to the distance between the port and driver, not impedance, correct?

Oh that would hurt. I caught the Ruger action a couple times. The angle is just so steep for me. The ruger 22/44 target? I had one of those quite a few years ago, I remember at first I had to pay attention not to grip it too high.
