    What is it?
  3. ssh replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Link doesn't work, blocked viewing access.
  4. Came out great, I can really appreciate how much work you put into that, considering how much fiberglass work I've done and messed with. If I tried to wrap that, I would have been in a very bad mood for a long time, possibly killed a few people too.
  5. Awesome surprise, Stoked to give it a listen.
  6. What speakers (size as well) do you currently have? Where are they installed? What exactly are they lacking? Overall, just not loud enough? Highs loud enough, but not vocals and midbass? How much space do you have / willing to fab to fit additional speakers? More cone area will certainly increase output, but to a certain extent so can more power (assuming it's within the driver's limits).

    Welcome back.
  8. If those jumper cables slip from the terminals on the amp... your likely fucked.

true, but the entire concept in CA is sorta meaningless to begin with.

Put clamp on one wire going to speaker, and put a dmm on both. ex: dmm on + and - speaker wires, and clamp on + speaker wire. dmm will tell you volts and the clamp will tell you amperage. Wattage = amps*voltage.

As much as I'd love a sport bike, I'd end up in jail day one.

    Always liked naked bikes.
  14. Okay it doesn't literally kill time, can't sue me. http://everythingtucson.org/lp/ Register account, login, then you can look for hidden text in images and guess, each one you get right is marked off. I'm thinking of other stuff to add (in similar way of figuring something out and inputting answer). Any thoughts?

You'll have to post a before and after picture.

Modeled a 12" dcon, using 2 cubic feet for volume. Green = 30hz tuning Pink = 41hz tuning With the higher tuning, output is lost on the lower end, but gained on the higher end.

Got bored today, made a website: http://everythingtucson.org/lp/ Register. Login. Look for text hidden in images. Good for killing time.
  18. That's a nice warm welcome to the developer of the app. I'm tuned in to see what new features you have coming and any answers regarding 98GMC's post.

I just take it one day at a time.

Awesome. Once I get the hang of it, I'm good. But that initial learning is extremely difficult when it's not actually taught. My teacher literally skips slides, starts problems, works half way through then stops and goes to next slide.

I posted my problem on a math forum and someone said I did it right, except for my units being mm and not mm^3 since it's volume. Woot.

I have never forgotten a subject so fast in my life as calculus lol Me too and I'm only in first semester. Whatever I learn in week1 I forget in week3. I have to go back and practice. I took 1 and 2 and when i got to the second one i was like is this shit again? i was so glad to finish with it, its so useless in my field but i think im gonna need some of it for pchem next semester I'm barely getting by. So far the content hasn't been THAT bad, but my teacher isn't much of a help, and the book is poorly written. I find myself searching google for other lecture notes and problems on math forums. Sounds like me for my classes i use google and wikipedia a lot depending on how well the book is written there are also books you can usually download from torrent servers that are usefull, like Schaum's for example Schaums is basically an outline with a bunch of solved problems. Theres a Schaums edition for almost any subject I'll have to check it out, thanks.
