Uhh no I'm not an asshole. I don't rattle people's houses in neighborhoods or shake rear view mirrors at stoplights. If my windows are down, my music is off. So if being respectful to others makes me all high and mighty then so be it.
  2. Port displacement is the total space that is used for the port along with the wood. For example: port width: 4", port height: 6", port length: 8", 4x6x8= 192in^2 + the actual displacement of the wood used for the port.

If you want to be heard from far away, why don't you just mount your speakers outside of your car? You could also mount your amp on the hood, then you'd use less wire for your power and grounds.
  4. That's great, rofl.

I don't have a cnc, but I found a bunch of plans / kits for building one. Range about 700 to 2k. Might do the 700 one next summer for a project. Should be very occupying. http://diylilcnc.org/
  19. Ever build a 3-axis cnc? Just a small one with a router, 3 motors for movement.

  25. Alpine CDE-123 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34353_Alpine-CDE-123.html Has 6 rca outputs; front, rear, and subwoofer Iphone capable, control through HU. Add PAC http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17946_PAC-SWI-JACKv1-New-Version-of-SWI-JACK.html or Axxess http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22808_Axxess-ASWC.html for steering wheel functions. Looks like that should do it. Spending around $240.00 total.
