Of course at the time I wasn't thinking about liability issues.

Sweet, I'll look out for'em. Funny question, do you guys ever use chainsaws? I remember going through a haunt once and one of the guys ran through the public crowd with a chainsaw. I swore it was real but seems like that would be such a liability, like if he tripped, "Oh shit, sorry I just cut off your fucking head bro." Yes we have a chainsaw, but there is no chain on it. The actor who carries it is 6'8" and scares the shit out of everybody. Ahh that's it, no chain. Yeah I must have been thirteen at the time, walking through a narrow passage between sets, and boom! this guys comes running out with it.

Damn man, I thought I was gonna see a strap on and some handcuffs or something. I don't know jack about the pioneer head units, does that one offer active processing? Sure looks fancy.

I just used the quickrete quick mix, just add water. Drop one 60lb bag in wheelbarrow, slash a cross, flip bag over, pull up from sides and the bag will split in two emptying out. I did two bags to a wheelbarrow (otherwise I'd probably spill the shit moving it across the front yard to back yard). Then had a spray gun type handle on the end of the water hose. Spray, lightly mix concrete around with hoe, push all concrete forward in wheelbarrow, spray more water into bottom (like a little lake), then start pulling down concrete mixing with hoe until the large puddle starts to thicken. Then keep pulling down more concrete and adding water. Spray the wheelbarrow between each run, it'll help keep the concrete from sticking on the bottom. The key is just to mix the shit a lot, get rid of any dry spots where it's still powder, and have a hose right next to where your mixing. I'm certainly no pro but it worked for what I was doing. Just a small slab to go under a work table in the backyard.

^Got him there. Well well well. I'm going to move my rear battery, mount my amps elsewhere, and throw my old box in. Not finding anyone interested in a box large enough they could live in, I'd rather continue to use it then just throw it away to make space in the garage. Plus I've come to the conclusion that as much space as it takes up, doesn't really matter, still got the backseats and I never carry more then one passenger. Time to do some planning and be creative with mounting all the amps. Poured a small concrete slab today, that was fun. 35 60lb bags really doesn't cover much...
  8. Does this work: http://beta.stefanhinote.com/master/ Or do you want the boxes smaller?
  9. http://beta.stefanhinote.com/bjlol/ Not very fancy but I figure it'll save you on ink when printing.

Are these speakers going in stock locations? If so, what are the stock locations and what size speakers can you fit there? Are you willing to modify door panels / dash to fit bigger speakers?
  11. What's the name of your show?

  13. Dammit, I had to wear leather pants today.
  14. If your headunit has a LPF for the subwoofer output then that's cool and you can use it, but if your just using a subwoofer rca output then I urge you to use the LPF on the amp. It wouldn't surprise me if the the subwoofer rca output on the deck was crossed over extremely high.
  15. As long as you don't do fuzzy green shit like some people from FL did....
  16. Thanks. I actually think I may paint it black and do like a splatter paint on it. I think it would look pretty cool. Thanks Danny! If you decide to paint it, grab some body filler and fill all the screw holes, won't take very long. Lightly sand. Then paint away. You could also do a bed liner type coat (I've seen some boxes with this and they looked pretty damn sweet). Like this:
  17. LPF will be preference, depends on what speakers your SA-10s are mating with. What speakers are you using for your front stage? In general, try setting it around 60hz-80hz and see what sounds best to you. SSF: ~30hz Phase: Try it at 0 then 180 and see if sounds any better one way or another, if not just leave at 0. Gain: setting it by a dmm is pretty much a joke. I'd just play some music your very familiar with, slowly turn up the gain until you hear distortion or any stressing of the sub, then back down. Play a few more songs and come to a census. Oh and the screen print on the amp that says: "10hz - 60hz" is rarely accurate. Meaning, if you turn the dial to the center, you would assume it's 35hz, but it's likely not.
  18. Send an email to: [email protected] See what they can do. If stet mentions sending the amp to arc, I wouldn't do it. Also try ZED Audio.
  19. That's exactly what 98GMC posted. Haha Didn't even notice, I guess I thought that was his sig??? Made for a good laugh.
  20. I'm not sure what adhesive your specifically using, but dap weld contact cement would definitely work. They make it in a commercial spray version or in a can. If you use a can and dab it on, be light with it so it doesn't seep through. I've had good luck using 3m 77 spray adhesive for small stuff, but I only used it to hold material for an hour or so while the resin cured.
  21. That's exactly what 98GMC posted.
