  1. Lately my diet has been pretty shitty, been living in an empty house eating frozen foods and take out. Anyhow I'm moving to our new house this week, hopefully I can eat right and get into a routine now. Then look into supplements and stuff. Thanks
  2. ssh replied to dvalue's topic in Home Audio
Mine hasn't. I am pretty sure it won't as well. Obviously the early ones had issues and yes it is still possible, but absurdly rare. Our other tv is a 3d plasma samsung, it's never burnt an image, but then again we've only had it for maybe 9months? Looks good though, at the time we thought 3d movies would start coming out, kinda wasted our money on for the 3d shiz...
  3. Nope been looking too. Wondering how well it would work with the ZED Minotaur. It works with any amplifier, not just ZED amps.
  4. Anyone find any reviews on the RA?
  5. Good deal Got about 4 or 5 days left, I need to get my monies in order...
  6. Yeah I figured once I start a routine down and what not, I'd read up on some posts from Godsmack and pick his brain for a little bit
  7. Pretty much man. I'm sure when I'm older my metabolism will slow, but I know it's not happening soon, and I'm certainly not bulking up in any way shape or form I just have to stay motivated and get a routine down. Every time I start working out for a few months, then sometime I over do it and get sick, then I can never get back into the groove.
  8. Sounds good, just ordered it
  9. I eat a lot, and don't gain weight, period. Put it this way, I'm within 5lbs of what I weighed four years ago. I'm 18 years old right now... I saw that on the first google search, just wanted to see if anyone had tried it or anything else Looks like I'll just order that, thanks. (as for weight issue, I'm well under 160)
  10. I had hopes it would be more subtle.
  11. No cause that's going to turn you on even more...
  12. Did you read ANY of the above posts? Say what?
  13. Anyone have some recommendations on a door way type pull up bar? Between this, dumbbells, and pushups, trying to bulk up a little bit in the upper body region. I'm a skinny little fucker and my summer has officially started
  14. Didn't take any pictures. It should be very interesting to see the new output once I get a real alt Once that's all done, I'm going to have to sit back and think real hard on my next approach for output
  15. hey no worries man! any time I can help out no problem! it is funny though how it was almost 3db differences from the TL vs the Makeitlouder meter. because when I was using it was always +/- 0.75db on average versus a TL my buddy has. but I blame your DMM lol! o well what was the TL score when the meter was on the window sealed up and one window down? do you remember off hand? also was the headrest the loudest point in your car hence why you put it on the headrest? also if anyone else would like to borrow the make it louder meter just drop me a PM and we can work something out. especially now since it is in the states and shipping shouldn't be an issue! but hey stefam you got the meter for as long as you want and if you make a change to your setup you can see it on this meter but I guess you can subtract a good 2db's from that score lol! actually if you want you can re-cal that meter on your pc for me! Not sure how to calibrate it And my dmm certainly isn't fancy, but I figured if it's reading a constant voltage then it's probably working Perhaps because we're at different altitudes and climates? All TL runs were with driver window down and and mic at passenger headrest, but I did my testing vice versa, I probably shouldn't have switched lol. Meca runs are all at the headrest, but since I didn't have a meca stand or anything, I just stuck the mic on the windshield. Only problem about trying to subtract 2dbs from the score is, db levels are logarithmic not linear. I have a couple people this week that would like to get metered, and I probably won't have my alt in for a few months or so, so next week I'll ship the meter out (just let me know if I'm shipping it back to you or someone else) Thanks
  16. Yeah man tomorrow were doing the box for my Sa's. I'll take a bunch of build pics. Sweet, maybe we can meet up at the end of this week
  17. I need to move to AZ... seriously. Don has pretty much thought his products out to the nth degree. That and his tiles do have a heavier gauge foil. I think there is only one other product out there that has a thicker. He's certainly been helpful Southern AZ is hot as hell during summer, kinda blows. I plan on making multiple trips this summer, just to get out of the heat
  18. We'll have to meet up sometime
  19. Ah ok, so it was some b-stock Damplifier, not actual Damplifier Pro. Not going to split hairs because I've had b-stock Damplifier and Damplifier Pro and it was all over the place, thick and thin. But for the price I was happy. Don's CLD tiles are literally the only vibration mat I haven't had the opportunity to use, but that will change shortly since Don is nice enough to send me a sample as soon as he gets it in stock. Yeah I went down to the new warehouse in Tucson and bought some directly from Ken, perhaps he was out of the regular stuff, I don't remember it was a while back I liked that the sheets were large, where as the sds cld tiles are small, but I know their small for a reason (25% coverage to reduce resonance, not persay for reduction in flex.)
  20. Is that a fact or a statement? Because I know for a fact that Don's product is the same thickness as Damplifier Pro (80 mils nominal). Best suggestion I'd give you is buy the highest quality mat you can afford. So depending on how much you are wanting to spend, RAAMat might just be the best choice. That and Rick is a nice guy. I have bought both products, had each in my hands, and the stuff from SDS was thicker... The damplifier I got from second skin was according to Ken, "They made a mistake when making the last batch, so this damplifier is actually thicker then the damplifier pro." and I got it at the normal price, which is cool, but it was still thinner then sds. So I honestly don't care what the specs on the websites say... Or I wouldn't be surprised if Ken sold me the "damplifier" instead of "damplifier pro", he was a bit scattered And I'm no scientist, so perhaps the difference in thicknesses isn't a big deal.
  21. @ the headrest! Does around a 158 in the kick. Nice scores! I am eager to hear more about the ZCON design when it is posted. I was at the show, heard Wills truck and an escalade with 2 18 L7s (whatever top square driver kicker makes), two warhorses, and four 300a DC alts. (install and everything was sick too) Wills truck was a lot louder, obviously has more cone area, but it was the loudest...
  22. Second skin is expensive, wasn't all that impressed for the price. The cld tiles that SDS (sounddeadenershowdown) sells are way thicker then the second skin pro stuff.
  23. Build looks great, bet it gets loud
  24. I would use the ones that came with the speakers, sure you could use the factory ones, but I'm sure it would sound better using the crossovers that were designed for the kenwood speakers. Afterall, speakers are crossed at different points for a reason...
