  1. Yeah I think these would be great for vehicles with lots of space, lots of playing time, and weight isn't an issue. In my case, xs power batts can give me the power I need in a small package, and relatively light
  2. Sounds good. How are the smds handling all the power? Still using 3500ds? I'll be on the lookout for the build log. See ya at TRP
  3. It's just telephone wire (RJ11) For instance: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812200429&cm_re=rj11-_-12-200-429-_-Product
  4. x2 Busy with work? Hope to see you at the next show towards the end of this month.
  5. Yep I filled it with ccf, upon finding the screw that fell out and putting that back in Just need to glue the plastic that broke. Yeah me too. And I believe the volvo is built much more rigid then most american and japanese cars. The roof already is pretty stiff, hitting it with a fist makes a thump. I can hit my mothers mazda 6 and it flexes inward and sounds like a tin can when it rains. For sure, I've noticed the rear view mirror is pretty stiff and isn't AS affected by the bass as other people. Most of the body panels are pretty stiff like you said, I couldn't believe how much flex (in a bad way) my friend was getting from some pretty crappy subs. On some songs the rearview mirror shakes like crazy but stays in the same position, but other songs... It just flops down in a matter of seconds. The slider for the sunroof also slides back on it's own, and here and there I push all the window buttons up because they slowly go down (just a few mm every 10minutes) I'm thinking what else can I do to get louder on the tl. I'm sure stiffening the roof would help, but not ready for that yet. Thought about filling quarter panels up with expanding foam but would need to make sure I can still get to the lights and bulbs. Any other ideas?
  6. When I saw another build posted by blade ice I knew we were in for a treat This build is amazing. Wish you weren't so far away!

  8. Umm yeah
  9. Or make him late.
  10. Oh i plan on doing that for sure...been to court enough to know how to act, "yes you honor, no your honor". lol... But my windows were down...up here in OH the weather sucks so when its nice its a must to have them down. Hopefully all goes well though. I make it a habit, if I'm playing any bass, windows are up. And even so, I still need to turn it down at intersections and bumper to bumper traffic. Good luck.
  11. I'll see how it is with a new alt and gain readjusted. I'm sure the zcons on the same amp would be louder, but not sure if it would be enough. And I don't have anymore room for a bigger amp My overhead light makes a rattling noise now... Some of the gasket for my windshield has ripped out... hmm
  12. Just show up the court well dressed with a decent attitude and see what the judge says. Some tickets are just BS and going down to the court can often times get them thrown out (at least in my area). May I ask, were your windows up or down?
  13. When he reinstalled windows theres a good chance he didn't install your video drivers for your graphics card. This means it could be using generic drivers from windows, and causes page to be laggy when you scroll, etc.
  14. Those drivers are monsters, your going to love'm.
  15. That's the one, appreciate it man. Do you or does anyone else have any experience with these meters? Are they any good? Stinger ones are fine, never had any problems with them. Just don't forget to calibrate the screen with a dmm when you install it.
  16. Update your browser, use firefox or chrome. Try updating your flash player, http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
  17. It's in the works
  18. Yeah I keep forgetting I love how they sound, loud for sure, afraid to say I'm starting to get use to it, which makes me want to cry. But I still need to do some tuning and and better electrical, so I know it still has some potential
  19. heh thanks. I tried doing a hair trick today but it was too windy so you couldn't tell what was bass and what was wind. But her hair didn't fly up like crazy either
  20. dun dun dun 1080, and 720
  21. I got the car for $4900 (86k miles). Timing belt was just changed, checking dealership record to see if the tensioner was also changed. New air filter, ordered iridium spark plugs, and a few other maintenance stuff. Cleaned the maf sensors and throttle body this afternoon, everything has been in good shape. Contemplating whether or not to switch to a 3" downpipe for the turbo, supposedly it lessens the turbo lag and adds a tad more power... great deal there Thanks. Got another video uploading
  22. It's not going to be alot... This is just a guess, but your height is ~24" and you have 5 of the braces. Lets say there 3" in width and 1" thick after being placed in corners. 1x3x24=72in^3 *(5braces) = 360in^3 = 0.2ft^3 or 0.2cubes
  23. We moved, it was 9339 but we moved into a bigger building at 9337.. Rob Thanks, Tracking Number: 1ZT73E260396285471 Should arrive on Wed.
