Ported Enclosure would be around 1.2cubes, sa8 is rated at 400watts and I see everyone seems to feed them a lot more for even daily... So will the sa8 still move enough to get some decent output with only 300watts? This setup isn't for competing obviously, just for my old man

are you planning on upgrading your amp or using 2000d for xcon or smd? 4gauge is not sufficient enough for the kind of power you want to run... Get a dmm or a lcd voltmeter and see how much your voltage drops at full tilt. If your going to take full advantage of that 2000d I would at least suggest another battery in the rear... If you can't afford everything then just do one thing at a time... not like were all rich.

If you go with 3 sa8s, what voice coil impedance would you get? Depending on if you get dual 1ohm or dual 2ohm's you can wire down to the following: 0.67,1.5 for 3 d1 OR 1.34,3ohm for 3 d2 (just something to think about)
