  1. or stole it lol
  2. I would think it would be fine, make sure your grounds are short as possible, you could do two runs of speaker wire to be on the safe side...
  3. ssh replied to sundownz's topic in Sundown Audio
    Take it easy
  4. Ubuntu is a unix derivative, linux. If your not running a lot of window based applications then it's great for everything else, and you'll never get any viruses. You can still run some windows apps under it, but depends on how complex the program is. But the best option is to install both ubuntu and windows, then when your booting your computer you can simply select which OS to boot into. oh and did I say ubuntu is fast, very fast
  5. i don't know how well the bass could be heard since the boat is open (I'm assuming). The only difference between car audio and marine speakers is marine speakers are more durable and less susceptible to water damage as car speakers are. (at least from what I can tell)
  6. Just hope you never get in a bad accident and have that box fly around in the cabin.
  7. Happy birthday! Make it count
  8. Only thing I listen to close to the above is metallica , but I'm sure others will appreciate it
  9. I think hes using the numbers from the khaotik enclosures for a box design for his fi bl. The re calc sucks, its not accurate and doesn't take anything into consideration, so your tuning will always be higher if you use it

I probably could of used more and there cheap... I only used like 2 or 3 on each door.
  11. ssh replied to ssh's topic in Videos
They made a HUGE difference, if I have to take my door panels off again for some reason then I'll take some pics
  12. haha! Looks that way cause the FPS on the blackberry suck. The window moves in and out so fast. Hope the JVC will do a better job of catching it. The lower fps from the blackberry makes it look cool Those ssds are looking good
  13. If the amp you get is 1ohm stable, then I would wire everything down to 1.26 and call it a day. Closest number to 1ohm to make most power without overworking the amp. Depending on imp rise you may be able to get away with 0.86
  14. ssh replied to ssh's topic in Videos
thanks, when I first started recording I was like "why is there so much less body flex yet this is a bit louder?" then I remembered I sound deadened everything
  15. ssh posted a topic in Videos
My door panels have a TON less flex then before since I sound deadened them with SDS.
  16. thanks for the posts guys, plenty of new music for me to check out
  17. Remove the cap? Why? Why isn't 1550 amps enough? Caps aren't beneficial in any way except looking fancy, they do more harm then good, they don't provide enough current to feed the amp, once they discharge (all the time) then there constantly drawing more current until charged, then discharge and cycle starts over... Put a dmm on the battery and play at full tilt, tell us what the voltage is dropping to....
  18. Another link to add for others is http://soundcloud.com tons of remixes, dubstep, etc
  19. ssh replied to bimmerboy's topic in Videos
That's impressive , but whats with the crunch amp on the floor...
  20. Looking good, I like your dash and headunit Gotta fix some of that trunk rattle
  21. eh I'm not feeling jackson
  22. Well I'll be ordering some more wire!
  23. So from looking at the pictures I'm guessing there is a spot on the alt to bolt down some 0gauge wire with a ring terminal to the battery? I just need to know if I should be ordering some extra wire and ring terminals
  24. And some of the in depth build logs actually show how to make / setup a lot of stuff (not mine lol).
