  1. I'm looking to bash anyone, I'm just curious and would like a good answer. That way if he's at the next show I can atleast defend sundown instead of being shut down if ya know what I mean
  2. they still had pcb but he stated there was copper plating underneath it, idk if they were strips perhaps?
  3. Optimus_Prime is selling a SAZ-4500d For Sale Sundown SAZ-4500D - SSA Car Audio Forum for $950. That will match up nicely.
  4. Get some decent pics that aren't tiny and i'll make something
  5. then tell me how these small metal traces can carry such high current.
  6. Couple weekends ago I was at a car show and a hertz sales rep was talking massive trash about sundown amps (and other non-mainstream companies). He stated that it is impossible for sundown amps and other amps of similar build to do rated power on strictly pcb board. he said hertz amps had a solid copper plate underneath the circuitry to deal with producing high current (1000watts+ or whatever). So my question is, do sundown amps (and others) have any plating underneath the boards? If not, then how do they handle all the current without frying? I'm not in any way, shape or form questioning sundown quality (as I have a saz-1500d myself , but just interested in how all this works.

Awesome build, box looks perfect in there. Hope it works well
  8. AAH OK YES I NEED TO DO THE BIG 3.. NO I HAVE NOT CHECKED.. DO YOU THINK I SHOULD GET A HIGH VOLTAGE ALTERNATOR?? ALSO.. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN WHEN IM RUNNING 2 BATTERIES AT 4 OHMS AKA 600-800 WATTS?? do the big 3, install a voltmeter and watch the voltage and see how much its dropping. If your two batteries can't support the amp and your planning on running more power than i'd advise getting a high output alternator.
  9. Now that was funny. I feel the same way too, kinda been into graphic design and web design but might ditch it when college comes and go for something audio related.
  10. Marks just gonna drive in reverse behind him, whats the problem

  13. This is just a hobby My "day job" is wholly unrelated. His day job is juggling, I thought everyone knew that...
  14. Nice video
  15. I'd go with the icons, everyone raves about them, I'll have mine next week and be able to give a full review
  16. most anyone that has heard anything that we make would highly disagree this statement. I personally heard the xcons and they do in fact get VERY LOUD and sound good doing it.
  17. Don't expect to be able to compare setups equally or figure out how loud ones setup will be to another. Too many variables, not to mention location of metering.
  18. Cool pictures, needs a little interior work and paint
  19. Thats impressive
  20. I'll have a pic video with subs working in it pretty soon haha. Ordered 1/0 gauge wire finally to replace my puny 4gauge too!
