is it safe to run my sundown audio 2000d at i believe .5 ohm? i have 2 15'' fi btl's dual 2ohm subs,,, so i can wire them to .5 ohm... i have a 05 f150 , 1 optima yellow top , 0 gauge , big 3 , xs battery 900d and of course the 2000d... am i ' safe ' ??? im currently savingmoneys for a HO alt.. please help...

ok i have a 15" fi btl with a sundown audio saz2000d. i built a box (3/4 mdf) with 4.5cubes of air space after sub displacement. i have it tuned to 33hz,(slot port) it sounds pretty good, i think , loudest sub i have ever own lol... im just wondering if it wouldsound better if i seal off the port and add some round flared ports ?? any thougths ? ideas ? sorry for the stupid question... please sum help... should i leave my box alone ? build a new one ??

Hire someone.. raise prices...lose business...let someone go. werd. quality>quantity i have been waiting for my 15" btl for almost a month. i oredered the wrong ohm option , just last week i email them to ask them to change my sub from dual 1 to dual 2 and they responded my email very quick ! so this delay worked in my favor ... hehe... i also got my tracking number today...

i am having the same problem understanding how to tune/port... since therules its 12"-16" , i used 14" , and my box its 4.5 after displacement. so 4.5x14= 63. 63=thats my port area ... now how deep should the port be ? i wanna tune to 33hz.. sorry for hijacking the thread but im desperate to finish my box

ok ,so i got a box (not really square, its a pentagon) made out of 3/4mdf , i got 5.09 cubes of air space with out the sub in (sub its a 15"fi btl) how big of a rectangular port do i need ? its this called port area ?? i had planned to have it 12.5wide x 5tall x 24 long... tuned to 33hz... does this sound rigth ?? please help me out...
