  1. I already have one PA 6.5 and one super tweeter in each door now. I know exactly how it sounds and my current front stage active sounds better than 90% of the passive components I have heard, honestly . You probably arent the one to be giving advice in this thread is if your opinion comes from your buddies truck. And also not trying to say anything but my truck on one amp would shit all over your friends 151. And seeing how I am doubling my power it will be even worse. The difference between 151-157 is not even remotely close. My setup kept up perfectly with the 2 18's I had that did 150's, but it does not keep up enough with the 3 18's walled. Not full tilt.
  2. I really cant decide between running 3 6.5's per door or running 3 8's per door. I think the 8's would give a more "full" sound with better midbass. Im still considering running all Crescendo front stage since I have 2 8's in the garage and also have 2 tweeters already. I also already have 2 Rockford 6.5's. So I'm torn which way to go 3 - 8in Crescendo PWX's and 2 FT1 super tweeters per door. or 3 - 6.5in Rockford Punch Pro and 2 PP8-T super tweeters per door. I could do 2 mids and 1 tweeter per door but not sure if it will keep up at 155db+ of bass and I only want to do the doors once. Crescendo's are very heavy, large magnet, 4in deep and the FT1's are relatively small and can be reconed easily. Rockfords are not as heavy and 3in deep but the tweeters are fuckin HUGE. I need to order something soon though. I'm ready to get this going. If I do the doors they will receive a sealed enclosed pod that will be mounted to the door, If I pay someone else to fiberglass a door panel then from what I have seen the panels will be done and the mids will somewhat free air into the door. Power comes from a Crescendo C1100.4 Dont know why I cant seem to make my mind up.
  3. Decided to just make my own bus bars. The trick will be making them for the Die hard batteries as I have .5in thick Aluminum and only .5in studs.
  4. With as busy as that build house is and the amount of work they get I don't understand why they don't hire more people. Hope it works out and you get the subs soon! I really am looking forward to see how they perform.
  5. Damn Charlie,...............damn

  7. Amp

swift replied to tonyb121's topic in General Audio
The first two are decent but I do not like P.A. at all. But that's just me. For your budget unless you buy used your very limited.
  8. A 10 gauge ground? How about don't run anything until you do it correctly? Ever think about that? Lol
  9. I have 3 of their amps and have never spoken to one person there. I did alot of research before buying aswell, because I tend to go by what peoples opinions are that actual run the amps instead of contacting the company itself. Of coarse they will say that their amps are what you want. What answer do you expect from them or any company honestly. You have 3 pages here of people saying they are a good company and make good equipment but you want to hear it directly from them first? LOL I did a 156 on music with ONE of their amps wired at .5 ohm and the amp never gets hot, Justins Blazer does 160 with Crescendo amps, Zack the bass boxing champ runs Crescendo, the list is long and I can keep going. For the money its a great amp that does just what it says. Any issues I have ever heard of have been handled very quickly. If you actually do some research on multiple forums and search you will hear the same answers from people who OWN the amps. If that still doesnt assure you then what else can we say. You will no doubt have some of the best customer service in the business right here on SSA. If you insist on immediate answers and want to talk to someone, then purchasing any product through this site is your best option.
  10. Its a truck, use the frame
  11. People that worry, worry, ask, ask and ask end up being the ones with problems. It never fails in my business, the people that worry the shit out of me are the only ones we seem to screw up on. If ANYONE has a chance at having a problem you will be the one...............
  12. Everything I have purchased from them got to my house within a week. Very fast shipping I felt.
  13. Its a great amp, nothing more to really say...... If it wasnt SSA would not carry the lineup! My BC series amp is a beast no doubt.
  14. Happy Birthday Big John!!
  15. If looks mean anything these will be incredible. Lol
  16. 200 shipped, final price. Below that she stays in my garage for future projects.
  17. Why is this in the FI section? And wouldn't a BTL and a Nightshade be a better comparison?
  18. The new amp is a C1100.4 to run the front doors. Gonna be doing a large very loud front stage. All Rockford Punch Pro Audio. All batteries are going in tool box. 4 Die Hards and 2 3400's in the tool box and the other 3400's under the hood. I hope thats enough battery power. I think I may order some Knu Krystal RCA's. Now I just have random shit in there, some are tsunami, rockford and maybe even a Memphis set. lol
  19. Got Power? Thinking this will be the new amp placements Decided to start getting everything out and get this going. I will be doing some very loud doors while its all out aswell.
  20. I would love to hear it. I bet its just plain nasty!
  21. Wow, You are truly lucky to be alive with all that gear inside.
  22. 225 shipped, this is a great little amp
  23. What a beautiful build and skills!
  24. I'm sorry but I must say it.... The entire thing looks hideous!! From the 1989 Enkei swirls to the strip club limo looking wrinkled headliner. 6x9's, 6.5's and 8's, I bet it sounds just as good too. I'm glad it's not your car.
