SAZ1500 V.2 issue
I have a Saz1500v.2 that I bought here off SSA less than a year ago. Well last night I noticed my sub just quit playing. After looking at it the red "protection" light is on and it just stays that way. Weird thing is I was actually listening to music on a normal mid level, gain remote knob all the way down and purposely trying to not really hear the sub because I was listening to a rock song trying to adjust my mids. Then when I went to add the sub back in it just wasnt there. I thought the knob was broke but I guess not. Amp was cold to the touch when it stopped working. What can I do from here. Thanks

30hz or 35hz
Uhh no I'm not an arseho. I don't rattle people's houses in neighborhoods or shake rear view mirrors at stoplights. If my windows are down, my music is off. So if being respectful to others makes me all high and mighty then so be it. LOL, chill out kid......... Read your post then mine and tell me again who the arseho is. I wasnt necessarily speaking to you directly but oh well. After reading the thread the OP is obviously a some dumbass kid that seems to think he is a tough guy with all his "street cred". But my point was the way people come across on this board sometimes. If you dont have your music on with your windows down good for you and who gives a shit, not me for sure. But, I bet MOST people on here do regardless what they say on these forums. I have enough in my truck to shake shit and be heard a couple blocks away but I do not do it in residential areas. I will have it up loud with the windows down going up the highway or down backroads but I do turn it down when coming to redlights or if I see older people or little children in cars around me. But just because I dont like to bother people now I'm not gonna get on here and be a hypocrite because when I was young I wanted to be heard too. It doesnt really matter anyway because we all are gonna do what we want anyway and I doubt this form will change that for anybody.

30hz or 35hz
I bet over half the people in this thread ride around with the windows down with their shit banging. I dont agree with going through neighborhoods with music loud and I dont, but if you have multiple large subs then your main concern is not clean it sounds inside your vehicle, LOL. Sometimes this place seems so high and mighty. Cut people some slack sometimes. OP, anything between 30 and 35 will work with that sub if it has the right airspace.

Would a Fi BL 15 be louder then 2 type R's?
No I dont, im just stating my opinion and saying that my box was sealed so I wasnt going for spl and the Type Rs where ported and where going for SPL and the FI was louder. So it does help, its helps by 1 more opinion and yes I know he is a SSA Tech and he helps answer alot of thins but he shouldnt go saying peoples posts suck when they are stating an opinion, a sucky post is one that asks how much something costs or if its something you can easily research. The type Rs could be louder than the Q in the proper box but for the average person who is going to buy the sub then throw it in a pre-made box then the result is that the Q is louder. I built my box because it needed to be custom to fit in my trunk and I did not intend for SPL but I intended on SQ. Does that "help shit" for you, that if your running a pre-made box for the typer Rs then the Fi Q 15 will be louder. You are honestly making yourself seem like a dumbass.

box build for 15" dcon. :)
That box looks awesome!! Thats exactly how I braced mine and I have zero flex. That will be a badass box for about any 15 if you ever want to throw some real power to it!

hhr 4th order wall build, fo fih-teenz
Sick build!!

Port area? When is too much?
It will be a SAZ1500 if I go forward with it.

Port area? When is too much?
IDK, The box I planned for my 21in DP is 10cubes with 165in of slot port in a truck also. They say up to 160 so you should be ok.

Just Joined a Gym and need Some Advice.
You are very young and have plenty of time to get "big". You are on the right start.... drop fast food, drop sodas, try to not eat as much white bread and too many potatoes. Have control of your portions and dont eat until you are stuffed. Stick with wheat bread. Get the right amount of fiber in each day.......No carbs past 7:00pm.. everynight. Do atleast 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week and have a basic and straight forward workout (lifting) schedule. I personally would do a 4 day split. Get good sleep at night. If you do these things you will definitly look and feel different in just a few months. Then when you get into decent shape you can concentrate more on building mass and gaining some size. I have been lifting for the past 18 years. I have been lean and fit in the past, I also have won powerlifting events in the 275lb weight class. My heaviest I have been lean is 278lbs (5'10) and could squat or deadlift 405lbs for 20 reps any day in the gym I wanted to. After having several injuries and taking a 2 year layoff I found myself being 260lbs and not in near the shape I wanted to. After my doctor advised me to lose some weight and lower cholesterol I decided to get back into to it. 2 1/2 months later I am down to 232lbs (from 260) and feel better than I have in 10 years. When I get down to about 220 I will then start the process of lifting heavy again, until then getting stronger is not my goal. I did this doing exactly what I described above. The hardest thing was having control over my portions. Now I crave salads and cold wheat subs and fruit. Just do not give up and remember YOU control what you look and feel like.

21in IA DP Box plans
Haven't tried it yet, I could with this...try it both ways before securing it.

21in IA DP Box plans
This is a lot of airspace and alot of port area, just want to do this right. My current setup has sub forward port to the driver sound and it slams. But with this the port would be right behind my seat, not sure how that will sound.

Fi Q 10 - Not incredibly loud
Put 1000-1500 watts of good power to it, let it break in and I highly doubt you will have the same opinion about your sub. You also need to make sure you have a nice front stage going as well. If you have one 10 sealed and a shitty front stage or factory setup your system will still not sound good. I had one 10in Rockford P2 sealed in my truck before my 15 and people couldnt believe how loud and good it all sounded. But the mids and highs were very well rounded and the entire setup was loud and very clear. This gives a whole different perspective when listening to your system. When you decide to go with one 10 in a sealed setup you need to follow through and get the most out of your entire setup, but if bass alone was your goal you need more power, more cone area and a ported setup.

21in IA DP Box plans
How does this look for a box plan. I am looking at going ahead and buying a 21in DP since I have plenty of airspace to work with. I also wanted as much cone area as possible that would be ok powered by my Saz-1500v.2. This would replace the rear seats in my 07 F250 and would be at window line. Goal is to hammer the lows, get loud as piss and sound good doing it. Will this work or should I change anything. Sub / Port will be facing forward. Around 10cu tuned at 30hz I got no responses in the IA section so it may be better suited here.

So it's not audio, but it sounds GREAT!
The car sounds awesome! Im sure it will run just as good too

SSA's Evil SS Camaro. 4 Evil 15s and 2 DC 7.5ks
That will be insane when done!! I wouldnt even bother taking it to the track after the install. If you do hook you will probabaly grenade the rear end and it wont run a decent time after the install anyway more than likely. Cant wait to see how the system turns out, it will def be sweet!

Going from a 15 to 18 help?
You shifted your peak greatly for it to drop that much on a meter, sounds like it peaked lower. OP- your current box in the truck is nice! Honestly, have you tried increasing tuning for the box? I don't think the box is large enough for that low tuning... IF you are willing to increase box size or are regardless, i would keep the 15 and just go bigger. Thanks Oh no the current setup sounds incredible honestly. I would be hard pressed to believe I could gain output from the way it is now and if it did alittle I dont think it would be worth it to lose rear seats. I really wanted to maybe from time to time just remove the seats and this box and buy one 18 or 21 with a very large box with alot of port area just for fun to switch back and forth. I have alot of hours in this box and alot of thought went into building it but it may be fun to through in more cone area just for fun sometimes. This was before carpet.

Going from a 15 to 18 help?
I currently have a 15in Q (newer style) in my crew cab F250 as a rear console box in 3.65cu tuned at 29hz running on a SAZ-1500v.2. It slams and sounds amazing honestly but I am itching for alittle more as everyone does. I was thinking of maybe removing the rear seats and doing a below window line box for a single 18. Maybe in 8cu or so tuned low again at 29hz or so. I would like to keep my current amp and only switch out the seats to the big box from time to time for fun. How much a difference will this make in output? Would it be worth buying a 18? 18in Q or a 18in BTL N2 either would be ran on my current SAZ 1500 at 1 ohm. Opinions? Current setup

Vid of my FIQ 15 on some Disturbed
Was bored and pulled over to snap a vid with my phone. This is a Distured bass edit song I did. The Q is run on a SA1500 in 3.65cu tuned at 29hz. Phone picks up the flex kinda weird but you get the idea. yes this is my work truck
