  1. I would start by saying to turn the bass boost off. The remote only controls the gain not the boost. The bass boost seems to end up causing problems with clipping and tearing up equipment. A custom shop might be better for finding a meter.
  2. My thoughts from what you have posted and the equipment you are using is that first, with the 2-4ohm subs you are not getting full potential (500-600watts)from the amp. Secondly I beleive the CDT subs you are using are more of a SQ type of sub, which to me I think you are expecting to much of them. Now I will say that I have not used the CDT subs before so I don't know what they are capable of as far as loudness. Maybe someone else will chime in and give their thoughts.

  16. Great Job!!
  17. Only experience I have with Soundstream is with my son's build (link is in my signature). Have been happy so far with the output they give, but they are the D-Tower Series. The difference I see in the specs of the 2 you have listed is the rms power specs. one is listed as 350 rms power and the other is 350 peak power. The amp phi has given as an option would be a good choice for the $ Good Luck!!
  18. For all that racing I do with it. I was able to get a good deal on them and I thought they would look nice behind the big wheels. It works!!!!
  19. Welding wire is great to use I would probly stay with 1/0 for your big 3 unless you are doing something hugh for an install.
