  12. fusible links at the starter Looks like a regular wire but a little spongy(softer) works similar to how a fuse works. If one is burnt you should be able to tell by lookin closely

Until I get home this weekend thats it, and even then it'll only be a pic of the final product. Pretty boring, I know, but thats what I get when I wait over 3 months after completion to post the build. Before during and after, ALL pics are good!!
  14. You would have to check but I think on the mid '80s models there were fusible links at the starter that feed certain circuits may one that burnt. If you start to look at them make sure all bats are disconnected. Don't have access until tomorrow but if I new all the fuses that were dead I could probly tell ya what they feed from. GL
  15. I have been using these for a while (8-10yrs), you are correct they are very consistant, always worked and never had a problem. Lots of power as well. Guess I should just use them. I actually have the bridges that go between them to make them look like one amp (never took them out the boxes) LOL!
  16. That Excursion shivers like it went for a dip in an ice-cold creek!!! SA's blastin' as allways!!
  17. Thanks for the ideas and the additional option. Kind of thought this would be the responce. I could see if I didn't care about it sounding good I'd just do it, but that is I have 3 old-school MTX-2300's that I can use for the front stage, but kind of don't want to because they are old like me. May bite the bullet as I get deeper in the build and pick up new amplifiers for the front stage.
  18. So glad this is comin' together!!! I know you have been planning an Awesome build for a while, and by the vid you are there! Congrats!!
  19. My assumption so far from the posts is that it will function but not have a very good quality of sound?? Punch is allways wanted, but if I go this far I think my efforts would be rewarded if it had a reasonable level of sound quality.

  21. That should be a great platform for a great build!!! You gonna use the BRAVOX speakers you were showin' off in this?? Nice!!
  22. When you start seeing his collection of goodies you'll wanna help too!! We are workin' on introducing his products to my camera!! SSA should know I love the pics!!
  23. Thanks! Lighting?? That is an unreal amount of wiring! My son is great at soldering at this point, and suprise! we got some more lighting to add here in the next week. Your build log has a load of views!! I'll never be able to top this one. I do have 2 different builds coming up besides my wall and hope to share them as well. Go for it. You have built up quite a following here on SSA, people seem to be checking in regularly to see the work. Denim, this is where you say "*Cough* Maybe you should run some SSA subs next build *Cough*" Mark and I have discussed that! Will need SSA's(Mark & Denim) input & products on the "Sefugi Schools Grasshoper" build.
