  1. Interesting design, look forward to seeing your results. Good Luck!
  2. How bout SSA on the member and when at attention it will spell out SoundSolutionsAudio No Pics Please.
  3. Do you live across the street from Sonic Electronics? To get a good idea of what is workin' for some setups check out some of the build logs and ask some questions. Check out the SSA store, they offer subs from mild to wild. The amps they offer will give great power for the $. Learn from my mistake, check what is workin' nowadays before buying you will come out ahead.
  4. "You don't screw around do you? LOL!" I try not to. I think my son is learning that if you want something done you got to get with it! As soon as we get this amp rack setup I got some back-up coming to try and get all the painting done. Taping takes forever.
  5. x2, I couldnt agree with you anymore . Do you have any plans for the steering wheel since it doesnt seem to fit the scheme? Got so much going on with this project, may have to live with the wheel for now. We have discussed a wheel change doing some kind of mod to the airbag area and I thought something else but don't recall. With all the items stacked around the house we're about to break the bank. Got Ideas????????????
  6. I guess that was not what you expected to find but now that you know you can move ahead...I did a search on the net and did not find any Doh-zor approved subs.
  7. Thanks! We still have the trims around the a/c and radio to work with. May have to pull radio during adjustment to radio and rear back-up camera.
  8. Just an update: Got the seats and seat brackets and they are installed...Also added 4 point harnesses in the front. Seat bracket mounting, neon tube mounted under each front seat... By sefugi at 2010-06-16 Seats installed with harness... By sefugi at 2010-06-16 By sefugi at 2010-06-16 We will be working on the amp rack and mocking up all the rear components today and posting pics on were we are at tonight or tommorrow.
  9. What about a tester amp to put in it's place just to try then if it corrects the problem find the replacement?
  10. Pass me a beer!
  11. Looks intense, Good Luck!
  12. Waitin' to see more...
  13. Got the vids now we need the log. Get to postin'
  14. I was a newbie just a month ago now still a newbie. Do a build log for sure! Make sure to take lots of pics!
  15. Thanks! The extra tweeters on the dash we not sure exactly how they will come into play but possibly they will be used kind of how the CDT upstage system works, (i know i should not compare the speakers we have to CDT being ours are not the quality of CDT) but maybe we can raise the soundstage up a little with the ones on the dash? We are looking forward to testing and experimenting with the settings and what we can make it sound like. Time will tell.
  16. Your right, my bad. We are going towards painting the battery rack and amp rack. Going to be a odd shape I think to fit all the items(to much stuff very little room) and my son wants most everything in the back to be black. We will be using some neon and LED's and we think the effect will be better shining off a glossy black surface. Thanks!

    Welcome to SSA Forum!!
  18. Don't tell me that.....what a horror that would be and to have any company not to respond to being contacted. That pisses people off! I hope you resolve your fatmat issue and I hope ours stays on. Thanks!
  19. Thanks!
  20. We thought that the interior might get a few more responces than what we received, but hey it is just an inside of a car. Thanks to the guys that responded. We have now started the building of the battery rack, just 2 extras don't know if that counts as a rack? This will also be the support for the (on paper) idea for the amp rack. Will be working on the amp rack this weekend. Here's were we are as far as the battery rack. The batteries will be mounted on the metal support behind the rear seat because it bolts in and can be removed for disassembly and give good strenght for supporting the plate that the amps will mount to.
