  1. When buying a refurb, I don't think they give specifics, but a call to them could explain all. They are very helpfull. This was the responce about my repair: "It had the standard problems, loose output inductor broke legs on a transistor next to it, voltage regulator filter caps had bad solder joints and 15V+ voltage regulator was bad because of it. All fixed up and everything siliconed in place now, way better than it was new." Wow, almost sounds like the build quality was poor to begin with. Your 3kwp is exactly the same as the sundown saz3000D, exact same board, different headsink and case. I know Sefugi's amp wasn't a saz3000d, but I'm sure the parts are similar from one to another. (as why would sundown use cheap parts in one amp and better parts in another? Wouldn't make sense) Just some food for thought. Now why couldn't it be??? Actually it was a 1200d, that was purchased used(& abused) in my opinion. Will not point fingers for I have no proof. It's all good now though!!!!!
  2. I would say since you are semi-new to the mids/highs portion of installs that using a good comp. set and a 2 channel amp would prove to be much easier and you would enjoy it without the extra hassles that an active setup can throw out. The girl?? She is the one that will do anything for an SSA member!!!
  3. It does present itself to be a Beast, looking forward to trying mine out!!
  4. For reference, these are the official ratings: Official Ratings off SAX-200.4 : 200x4 at 4 ohms 300x4 at 2 ohms 400x4 at 1 ohm 600x2 at 4 ohms 800x2 at 2 ohms Got that info from here
  5. that was a new windshield. 3rd one so far. Ouch!! Could a lexan windsheild be made for it?? Might be expensive, but being your on your 3rd one it's getting up there already. Would that be allowed in your comps?
  6. Nice vid Impious!! Thanks!!! Wish that attention to detail was used more often! Bazooka did have an option for adding liquid cooling, I still have a set of the 10" triangle subs they offered for adding this cooling feature.
  7. Yeah man. I am very frustrated to get this far and have to stop. Thank you for helping me along the way!!!!!! Sorry you couldnt see the completed system. Always here to lend a hand. I'm sure there is more in store from you in the future!
  8. Hell yeah!!!! What's next??
  9. Damn dude, sorry to hear this. Hope everything is ok with you. I have had times when I just needed to back off and re-group.
  10. That figures...
  11. It would be nice as stated in your other thread to have a possible budget idea... An amp that does full power at a 2 ohm load I don't beleive will be found in entry level amps. Something to consider: I know that Sundown amps (other brands I'm sure) like the SAZ1000 can be linked and work together for a 2ohm load. Keep researching for what will work for your needs!
  12. Long video, but a sweet truck!!
  13. Political Bunk!! TOP
  14. In no way was my responce a motion towards Palin or Bachmann, I think they are both "out there"!
  15. Why not?? Color was last time. Oh, I'm sorry did I say that?
  16. That looks yummy, love me some pasta! Oh, you made me a plate too.... Thanks, but I already ate! Looks great!! It was actually for my sister. The only time she loves her brother is when I cook for her. Nothin' wrong with a little brotherly love (no BS intended). Hell, if you cooked for me I'd love you too!!

No reserve, but more importantly AS IS, NO RETURNS! I only guarantee she will be delivered in one piece. Hell, forget it then!!
  18. Sometimes the 17s or 18s can be cheaper than the factory size, unless you are wanting something special in a tire/brand.
  19. Sorry, should have been min. rim width 6-7"
  20. With a 17" rim you could go with one of these choices: 205/45/17- 24.57" Height 215/40/17- 23.77" 215/45/17- 24.50" 225/45/17- 24.80" on a rim width of 6-7"
  21. I just went out to check, the tire is 195/60R15 and i measured the rim just make make sure and it was 16" If it is 195/60/15 then it is a "15" inch rim. Outer diameter for this tire is about 24.25"
  22. I just went out to check, the tire is 195/60R15 and i measured the rim just make make sure and it was 16" If it is 195/60/15 then it is a "15" inch rim.
  23. What size tire is on it now??
