Have heard about porting midbass in doors but seems it is not done very often. Will be tuned into this for sure!! I am going to be starting the doors this upcoming weekend. I am anxious and nervous I understand it is a bigger project, but if they are anything like the tweeter pods they should turn out nicely.

Started getting a few things done... Wires being run, carpet going in, and headliner. Still have a lot of trimming to do on the carpet and all the overhead items to be installed. Here are a few pics.

All of my projects are on hold because the garage is packed with this Tahoe's interior. Told me he would be here tomorrow to get some work done. We'll see... I have an idea, lets take the rat out of his truck and put it in mine until he finishes up his projects. Okay? Okay! He must have sensed this idea because he showed up to get some work done.

Maybe I missed the reason, but what is the advantage of narrowing the rearend?? Just more clearance? Great work as always!

Great to have new members!!! Seems you have a lot of ideas and your doing research to form them. As far as sound deadening you may want to check out this thread, it has some great info on installing deadening. Good to hear you are wanting to go to your first show! Always a lot of things to learn from going to a show. It's a bonus to be able to see something installed and then be able to ask a few questions about it. Enjoy!! Again, WELCOME to SSA!!!!

Yup thats the wall, only mods were: 45's on all corners of the box Much bigger port area Those 2 simple change made the world of difference!! I went from 147.xxDB @ 38hz to 149.9DB @ 32hz, my 25hz score has gone up a whopping 5 DB!!! And those scores are with the wall unselaed, will try to seal it this week and re test, as I also got my O scope so I can turn the amps up a bit more now Great to hear your hard work has paid off!!
