  1. 1: I still like separating the power and speaker/RCAs. I would run the remote with the power wire. 2: I would suggest starting out around 80Hz, but every install is different. 3: Not a fan of using headunit to power speakers. I would use the RCAs (front output for mids/highs and sub out for the channels powering the subs). Add the rears later if you feel it's needed.
  2. I have a "Shizzzon" folder now! Always looking for something new to add to possibles for listening/demo. Thanks!!

Won't be doing anything crazy for the front speaker install, but planning for something a little different for the sub and amp.

Wasn't trying to be sneaky about the Eclipse pic. Told Grasshopper when he called that if he wanted to use the garage he better get there before my son got home from school. I can understand Grasshopper wanting the new carpet, it's faded bad and has quite a few stains. Spare tire rack will not be going back in and the new carpet for the rear won't be cut for all the mounting points of the rack.
  6. Spectacular reaction!!!!! on getting the video up!!!

When I got home today there was more stuff in my garage(like I need more added to the mess). Grasshopper had gutted the inside of the Hoe and is doing his best to get this project on the move. Grasshopper was planning on cleaning the carpet, but he feels the only way to clean it is into the trash. He has contacted a carpet source adn is waiting on a couple of samples. Promised he would be back Monday to get started on wiring, said he has a full work schedule over the weekend.

I am finally getting a few pics up that Grasshopper sent me via phone. He has been working on the dash face on and off. A dremel died in the making of this dash face. He said this was plan B Grasshopper is not completely happy with how it turned out, but I got a shot of it when he came by today for a test fit.
  10. Looks Awesome and there is enough room for a SSA party in there!!! If there was no smoke then I guess it's time to get tuning!
  11. And me!! Bring on the pics!!
  12. For the first time making flared ports I think they turned out good. A little more flare on them so they will sit flat on the enclosure and you'll be ready to go into production! I've been thinking bout a homemade style of aero myself, may try it on an enclosure I'm designing now. Kicks, practice makes perfect!! Overall I think they have a good shape. One thing I have seen with fiberglass is if you can get as close to the final shape you want before you start glassing the less bondo and sanding you will have to do. Keep up the good work!!! I wanna see some more of your progress!!
  13. Would you be going with more port area this go round? Curious to hear your changes and results!!
  14. Vid looks great!!! should be INSANE!!!!
  15. Were's the BEEF???

  18. Should be very easy to get a step-up on alt for an older vehicle like that, may need a little more juice once you get the hydralics installed. By the way how are the front speakers working out with how you set them up??? You havn't mentioned them.
  19. Now that I can see it a little better that coupe is really clean!!! Seems the subs are doing work!!
  20. Any word on the amp yet?? You need your bass back!!
  21. Pods keep looking better and better!! Gonna be Nice!!
