  1. Design looks cool to me. The first pic says "port will fire over rear seat"- How's that gonna fit behind the rear seat??? The older Burbs must have more space than I remember. I'm still hoping those 12 holes are for DCONS!!!!!
  2. Enclosure is taking shape nicely!!! I like!!
  3. You should have all of us over for a cookout!!
  4. Getting closer with every peice installed! I'm ready for this bad boy to make some noise!!
  5. The 1200d does do rated power at 12.8 volts!
  6. An extra 300 watts would be great to have for the headroom, but $150 would get you all wired up if you havn't gotten to that yet. You have to make the call.
  7. I had Dbr repair my 1200D and it has been great!!! They were also very easy to work with and the communication was excellent.
  8. This would work also, just less power.
  9. Don't know the price of the Crescendo but you could check this
  10. After doing some measuring, the face of the enclosure(subs and port opening) would be 5' form the base of the windsheild. Thats about 3.8' away from were it should be with a 32Hz tune. This is the picture that stuck out in my mind that I had seen before and uses the idea that the rear wave should be 3X the front wave making the front wave 00 and the rear wave 1800. This info and picture came from this article: http://caraudiomag.com/articles/box-basics-part-2
  11. Seems kinda heavy for 2-600 watt subs, but I guess you can gain down.
  12. Go enjoy yourself and do some damage!!! I'm about to get started on the yardwork.
  13. Maybe when you go you should wear a bib! Good idea! I am a big eater too. Really excited with a pocket full of cash is not always good. Isn't your wife going with you?? Maybe she should hold the cash, OK maybe not!

    X2 on watching!!
  16. What amp are you putting these on?
  17. Yes it will 90 at the rear of the enclosure and go towards each side. When it makes the 90 each run at the rear will be 2" which gives 4" as a total. Understand that?
  18. for sure doing the big 3 since I have the stock alt (~120amps?). Do you think 30ft would be enough for power/ground/big 3 in a 4dr sedan (vw passat)? I allways like to have a little extra, but 30' should do it depending on how far away from the bat your alt. is.
  19. Turned out really clean!!
  20. I can understand that you are new to the forum but you don't need multiple threads for the same question!
  21. I would recommend the 1/0! Don't forget to do the BIG3!!
  22. Your gonna need 21.5" in depth You could use a 15" tall x 4" wide port and it will have to be about 36" long to get a tuning of about 32Hz. That's a gross volume of 5.47'3 and a net volume 3.56'3 This is not exact but would get you in the ballpark. I used the recommended 1.75 per sub and .28 for displacement of subs.
